A day of studying today, just put some soup on with lentils I found in the back of the cupboard - keep buying new ones but I'm sure these ones with expiry date of jun 11 will be fine:D they don't look any different...

I'm sure your lentils will be fine. I've been making rice dishes in quantities of 3 and have just found out that is a BIG NO NO for food poisoning! Who knew - well not me obviously!!!!!

The lentils were indeed fine Butti, I'm not brave enough as some to scrape mould off food and eat it but dried stuff in the cupboard is fair game:D I often cook extra rice to use for fried rice as it's better a day or two later and no one's suffered for it yet...

Well I know and ignore it so I think that's worse :rotfl:. Like SS, never had a problem.

SS - same decade? Fine :D.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Have made appointment to go see about opening one of these 1 2 3 accounts as my savings are currently getting zilch! well zilch point five:D

Job looking a bit dodgy at the moment, he's not said anything but have a feeling I'll be getting laid off after xmas, the good news is I've never used the money for anything but OPs so while they'll slow down we won't starve.

Right! Two essays to finish by Monday...

You're doing so well SS. You've managed to do what I didn't - getting a part-time job and the fact that you've been overpaying will buy you lots of kudos with any financial institutions in the future.

Part-time job that can be quite fun on occasion - was quite good today, all customers bar one fun and entertaining and the other guy was just dour not unpleasant. Have new colleague who is very nice and made me laugh lots and is a hardworking bloke so easy to get along with:D nice coffee with LM and his DS but then back to essay hell... Nearly done but felt I needed to stop at ten for the night, tomorrow morning should see the back of them and maybe I can have the night off tomorrow?:D
