Had a lovely lunch with a friend today and a rather bracing walk down the beach:eek::eek: blowing a gale here and lashing with rain so delighted to be on the sofa with a blanket.

Got pay in and expecting an extra weeks wages but there's another extra £100, won't get pay slip til Saturday but xmas bonus maybe? Won't spend it in case it's a mistake:o
Off to try running against the wind, got a 10K next week so got to keep running but it's horrible out there, on the upside it'll be interesting to see what's been washed up on the beach! Me too Beanie, hoping he's not paid me for this Friday and next in advance before I turned this Friday down...
Running was hard going this morning, hopefully the wind has calmed down now but you know those big black bins with the gold detail you see at the beach? there were three lying on the path and the car park I was in yesterday was blocked by a tree! I have been xmas shopping and got almost everything then clothes shopping with DS (aka the fashion victim) so some because he needed clothes then some as part of xmas, followed up by dinner out and hopefully that's the spending finished for a while. Have lunch out tomorrow but that's paid for and I'll be on fizzy pop as I'm driving later so shouldn't be too bad.
