Can I interest you in some chocolate beetroot cake? I am thinking of making some for my lovely vegan friends at Lush as you can make it without dairy if you use veg :)

Ruby if it helps I agree with Fairy on all those points. Saving so much money would be very liberating for you if you think you wouldn't mind living in a caravan for a while.
I didn't want to just repeat what Fairy said but thought the more opinions you had on the matter the more helpful it would be.
If I were in your position I would give it a shot :-D

    Morning all,

A new week, a new start.

Tonight's mammoth task is to tidy up The Retreat (spare lounge/bedroom allegedly for relaxing in) as the only thing retreating into it is junk and laundry!

    Fairy, the quilt looks lovely.
Suzi, chocolate beetroot cake sounds interesting...

Ok so I chickened out of sorting the retreat last night BUT I did tidy the bedroom, which to be honest was almost as messy.

Tonight, I attack the Retreat! If I go MIA please send a search & rescue team as I'll probably be hidden under a pile oof books and/or crafting stuff :rotfl:

IF we do have the same room please could you tidy it up for me? ;) I've seen a 7 drawer plastic storage thingy in Argoos I'm going to invest in to store my crafting stuff, curently in about 5 carriers and 2 photocopier paper boxes. I already have a 4 drawer cabinet full. My bessie has a whole room for crafting in...I can only dream :p

Hope you're feeling cheerier soon. It's hard to sleep when bleak thoughts are heavy on your mind. Feel free to PM me if you want to get things off your chest xxx
