We're going away next Saturday, so my meal plan runs till then and involves using up everything in the fridge and buying as little as possible!

T - Pasta with tomato, spinach and bacon (theatre)
F - Grilled chicken breasts with carrots, green beans, new potatoes and gravy
S - Grilled chicken sandwiches with new potatoes and corn (out at friend's)
S - Turkey stir fry with noodles and whatever veg is left
    M - Chili with rice
T - Hoi Sin turkey wraps (cinema)
W - Grilled chicken sandwiches (out at Xmas do and there may well be a buffet or snacks of some kind)
    T - Turkey fried rice
F - Grilled chicken breasts with sweet potato wedges and baked beans

I have everything in for these meals, a lot of it frozen. Will just need some sandwich stuff and to stock the freezer with food for when we get back.

Good idea to bring this back :)

I meal plan but sometimes go a bit off track :o

Just finished my plan for tonight's shop :)

    This week's plan:

"Meatball" (Quorn) stroganoff on whatever pasta I can find in the cupboard served with broccoli and peas.

Chicken (soya for me, real for OH) with mashed potatoes and vegetables (probably broccoli, runner beans, peas & sweetcorn).

Out for lunch with mine & OH's parents on Wednesday so dinner will be a snack - whatever we have in.

Minted pea, feta & bacon (soya for me, real for OH) omelette with hasselback potatoes and salad.

Bacon (soya for me, real for OH) and leek risotto.

Chicken (Quorn for both) & vegetable fajita stuffed baked potatoes served with salsa and sour cream.

Pizza with homemade wedges and salad.

We don't have them in a specific order, just whatever we feel like on the day or whatever needs using up.

I love this thread! My plan for the week looks like this:

M - Chicken and veg stir fry in teriyaki sauce with noodles (mushrooms, red cabbage, broccoli, spring onions, mange tout)
    T - Dim sum (cinema)
W - Chicken and veg stir fry in Coconut curry type sauce with rice (mushrooms, sugar snap peas, spring onions, carrots, cauliflower)
T - Chicken bake (ready made thing with chicken in sauce wrapped in pastry) with cauliflower and red cabbage
F - Grilled chicken with stuffing, whatever veg is left and gravy
S - (out at theatre / BBQ) sandwiches
S - Burritos (corn tortillas stuffed with turkey mince, onions and mushrooms in fajita seasoning) with salad, avocado, corn, salsa and refried beans

I have gone way off track with meal planning recently and will get back on track. After a few hiccups recently - we haven't been grocery shopping in ages, but do still have some store cupboard ingredients, herbs etc.

I am planning to do a meal plan at some point this week, incorporating what we do have in our cupboards and freezer and go shopping at the weekend

I often find our meals are repetitive though and do attempt to try different things, and would love some inspiration (on a budget lol)
The opposite of what you know...is also true
