When I click on Firefox - Add ons, it goes to 'add add ons' and has a nice little thing to click on to tell me what are add ons!

    No extensions or plug-ins?

What was the outcome of running it in safe mode - did it crash?

I haven't added any, though I realize that sites could add them without me knowing.
Have you checked under 'extensions' and 'plug ins'? It could be you had some installed along with other software.
Edit: Oops you beat me to it Waddler!
  • OK I do have 2 add ons (I found them in 'extensions *shrugs*)
They're both disabled, Java Console 6.0.33 and Microsoft.NET framwork assistant 1.2.1. Does that mean I can't play Java games on my computer any more?

  • It hasn't crashed yet *fingers crossed* hence question above
    Many thanks

Well there's your problem right there...
Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon: no matter how good you are at chess, its just going to knock over the pieces and strut around like its victorious.
  • It crashed again ! Bother blast and fiddlesticks.

In safe mode or started normally? This should take 2-3 mins.

Download DDS from the link below and save it to your desktop:

    Link

After you've downloaded it and saved it to your desktop:
    • Double click DDS to run it.
    • When it's finished, DDS will open two logs:
    1. DDS.txt
    2. Attach.txt
Save both reports to your desktop.

Copy & paste the contents of just DDS.txt for now and post it here (you may need to split the log over separate posts)
