Morning all, just been to Tosco and got DTD on some T finest ham - should have been 2 for £4 but discount didn't come off. CS very helpful and dtd with a smile. I got the Outdoor reared Yorkshire crumbed ham - b/code ending 721695 and the Yorkshire dry cured roast ham - b/code ending 145576 -(got some other stuff as well and used a £2 off £10). Sorry if already been posted, haven't had time to catch up and so excited at getting this!

thanks, but that was posted on here over a week ago by someone else. Can't remember who original OP was. I remember rummaging through my voucher wallet at the time looking for the 50p mocs. I could only find 1 as i'd used them all on cheap loo roll. Not sure I can print off more mocs. I'm sure i've had my limit. Thanks ago though:)

It is outrageous the way elderly people are treated as 2nd class citizens
in our hospitals:mad: it makes me so angry, that a drunk always gets preferential treatment:mad: I will never forget when my Dad was in hospital for months, before he passed away. He was on a ward with a bunch of drunks. They were always looked after much better than my Dad was :( (((tweets)))

The care in hospitals is dire, when my mum was in for a few months before they finished her off it was disgusting. The worst but though is finding out that it is pretty standard in most of our nhs hospitals, mainly due to underfunding.:(

Ain't that the truth - certainly where my OH is concerned. Love him to bits but I need my space. Finally been able to tidy etc without him under my feet. Having said that, he lost his keys this morning so he's had me running round the house looking for them  I found them

And the fact that the majority of users of the system have never paid a penny into the system in their life.

did you complain . in writing/ person to the hospital manager/ helathboard? i think the way you were seen is unexceptable , and for them to basicaly say a drunk is more important than you mum is totaly out of order and she came in emergency - this is so wrong , everytime iv been to hospital we are told at the reception desk at A&E that all amblances are emergencys and will be before us ,

im sorryy for the way you been treated its wrong and not exceptable

No we didnt complain there was no point. I say this because years ago when my son was young mum was in hospital in a bed next to nurses office. This was just after christmas toosunday morning. Think she had had mini stroke then not sure :(

I was in bed when was woke up with bang bang bang on my front door and this voice shouting. Frightened me i was on my own with son hubby long gone outta my life. Went down shouted who is it and  mum said back its me let me in. Opened door she in her nightie  i had to pay taxi .

Got mum in asked what she was doing and she said nurses where taking folk and killing them and she didnt want to be next so walked out . I was  so rang hospital ward and said i couldnt sleep worrying about mum and could they tell me how she was. Nurse said hang on and came back and said mum was ok  I said are you sure go and check again still insisted mum ok so i said dont lie to me mum here with me she came here in taxi. Nurse couldnt apologise enough.

So i put mum to bed and i slept on sofa til morning. Then rang bro who drives to take us back to hospital to sort it. He had been drinking and couldnt help  didnt care.

So i rang mums bro in warrington he came and his partner sat with Jamie while we took mum back to hospital.

We complained then but all they said was sorry and it was the tablets playing silly things with mums mind. we laugh at it now but mum could have allsorts happened to her if that taxi hadnt been there when she walked out. Hospital few good miles from my house.

So that incident put me off complaining again. :( Sorry if any nurses doc etc reading i know you are not all bad and do a good job 99% of the time .

Makes you sick doesnt it  sorry about your dad :(

My mum is being monitored by hospital for other serious illnesses she got and docs are brilliant i did have a moan about them earlier in the year but think it was QoC who made me feel better i was thinking negative thoughts and she put me back on track with positive thoughts . Sorry if it wasnt you QoC :)

Sorry to hear you and your family have had to go through this too:mad: I think you are right about it being standard in most hospitals. The NHS is the pits:mad: why do we send our young men to fight other peoples wars, instead of investing all that money in healthcare & education? the government is too busy poking it's nose in foreign affairs and doesn't give a sh$te about what's going on at home:mad: I'm on a ranting warpath today!
