Just bumping this (found on 1p thread) in case anyone is going to T's today. I will be going later and will report back, unless someone goes before me :)

Moral of this story. Never use a manned till for 1p items :D Although, to be fair, the young man was expecting to pay £22 for it  I would have gone back to the shelf for another one and sneaked it through SS tills:D

Cool, thanks for posting :T I can get there just after 2pm

    Is it this one?

Hope he ok laaCaz and docs look after him try not to worry i know its hard.

Not many people know on thread but my mum rang me new years day 2012 around 9am and said she had rang emergency ambulance. I got to her flat and ambulance arrived just after i got there. My mum had suffered a mini stroke.

Still not forgiven hospital she was sat in a wheelchair for 5 and 1/2 hours in A&E this was after ambulance driver said it sounded like a stroke. So much for adverts on tv get seen quick.
When we got to see doc he apologised and replied something like they had to see to all the new year revellers first  i had to leave the room and go outside where i cried my eyes out before going back in.

One of the teachers from school i work at came in while we waiting she was in and out in under 2 hours trapped her fingers in chair while drunk and broke 2.
did you complain . in writing/ person to the hospital manager/ helathboard? i think the way you were seen is unexceptable , and for them to basicaly say a drunk is more important than you mum is totaly out of order and she came in emergency - this is so wrong , everytime iv been to hospital we are told at the reception desk at A&E that all amblances are emergencys and will be before us ,

im sorryy for the way you been treated its wrong and not exceptable

It is outrageous the way elderly people are treated as 2nd class citizens
in our hospitals:mad: it makes me so angry, that a drunk always gets preferential treatment:mad: I will never forget when my Dad was in hospital for months, before he passed away. He was on a ward with a bunch of drunks. They were always looked after much better than my Dad was :( (((tweets)))

    Howdy festive strangers!

Inhave had an exceptionally fab christmas. Christmas eve, ds1 dressed as santa. He waled passed our lounge window so two little ones would see him. Bless him. He hadnt done belt tight enough and his trousers fell to his ankles, he ran behind shed to readjust! Ds3 just caught sight of him in the corner of his eye and all he did was gasp out loud snd then pretend to be asleep on the sofa. I asked him what was wrong but he wouldnt answer. He peeked his eyes open and craned his neck, then shouted, i saw santa. We told him not to be daft, going along with our little trick. He got into a panic and thought he wasnt going to get any presents as he was awake!

I pretended to go outside and look. Reassured him i defo couldnt see santa. Ds1 had readjusted himself and was back in action. He stood behind me and waved at the other two boys through the window and shook his sack at them and then did a thumbs up. Ds2 spring into action and it was like our very own panto. Hes behind you.. We just pretended we couldnt see him! Ds3 pipped up that we either dont believe enough or santa is invisible to old people! Hes 4!

santa trotted off and disappeared. Boys were so amazed. They an upstairs to get their big brother, who ad by jow whiped off costume, he came charging out of his room and told them hed seen santa getting into his sleigh on the drive! Completely made our christmas. Now this is one of those times when big age gaps work to our advantage! It was pure magic for them.

On the other hand, they were so not impressed with the micky mouse phone call after that!

Sounds magical, ooh that reminded me my Mickey Mouse call never happened I had completely forgottoen about that.

Hey tweets! Sorry about all the misspellings. Cold fingers! Ds1 hasnt believed in santa for too long. His dad told him when he was 7 that it was all made up rubbish. I was devastated when he came home and told me. He was a star, i was really proud. Tbh, i thought h would moan but he revelled in it.

My fingers are always cold lol. Spoils the magic doesnt it when they find out. Only time my son would sleep through the night was christmas eve because i told him Santa wouldnt come if he was awake. When he was around 6 he went down early hours and Santa not been i was :rotfl:in bed he was soon back in bed and asleep woke up and Santa had been.

Bet you was proud of him my son 23 and he still makes me proud.

Son going home today if he can get home he lives in Liverpool.

Thinks he be ok there was a landslid on Manchester - Liverpool and train line was shut yesterday. He looked online and says trains seem to be running today.

Says he didnt tell me didnt want me worrying :)
