Hiya Bubbs  Not too good, with a deep chest infection at the moment
Andy had bad cold when I came down to visit, then Steve got it, and then I caught it about 3 or 4 days ago. But mustn't grumble, others far worse than me. I was going to drive home today but I had a real bad night last night with the cough and 'thought myself into a dark place' so stayed in bed until 4pm, hiding under the duvet
Feeeling better now though and hoping to drive home in the morning. You got plenty milk tonight hun? :rotfl:
hope you're feeling better now 3Dogs. x0 -
Hiya
Was thrilled to find a big net with tomatoes reduced to 4p so got six and then used them all to make this lovely soup, tripled the recipe actually and it made loads. This was in a Mr T's metro so just a lucky find.
TOMATO SOUP
1/2 pint chicken stock
2 oz marg
1 onion chopped
2lb tomatoes
3 rashers bacon
1 tsp sugar
2 tsp cornflour
bayleaf
black pepper to taste
Method
Fry chopped bacon in marg, fry onion, peel tomatoes and fry for 5 mins. Add stock, cornflour, sugar, bayleaf, pepper. Simmer slowly for 30 min. Sieve or blend.0 -

When I was 14 I used to work in a garden centre with a veg section at the other end and people used to dare me to eat various things raw, and I NEVER lost a dare!!! Disappointingly they gave up when someone dared me to eat a charcoal dog buscuit. It was actually quite nice
