I know!! Like I said, I like Tom but wouldn't describe him as a giant of a man. So I'm torn, I'd like to see it but it will colour how I see Jack Reacher if there are more books.:o
I won't watch the Narnia films as I fell in love with the books and those people in the films aren't the ones in the book - they are imposters, lol.:p0 -

Fudge Cake you have been missed by many, not only for your great lists and your simple explanations to the sometimes slightly confused among us, but simply missed. So pleased you have returned x
Another for the absent list
Princess melody where are you?
I would like to join in the 'Save your wombles' challenge please.
I don't get out to womble often as only usually shop once a week but this will get me out in the fresh air more. Looking at my past wobbling successes which are very small and probably non existent by others standards, I am setting myself a target of £250 for 2013.
Once I work out how I aim to put this running total into my signature.
I know my target is small but had I done this in 2012 it would have bought me my new galaxy tablet so will be the perfect amount for a treat come Xmas 2013.

I would also like to be a part of this challenge, please. The goal would, I am sure, encourage me to be more consistent in my wombling efforts, which have dwindled almost to nonexistence.
To date, including what would have been 6 months last year heavily focused on wombles, I think I recovered close to 30.00 worth, which was encouraging then sort of demoralizing when it involved going at least once a day regardless of weather.
Will be setting a target of 120.00 for the year.
Are there any general hints for wombling such as best time of day or how often staff clear car parks2013 Wombles onto Giftcard Challenge £0/£1200 -

Hi Everyone,
I am pleased that the finest piri piri worked. It's the first time I have been able to find a glitch first and then tell all of you. As said I think it might be put right soon.
Have a good evening0 -

I quite agree! Most movies at least attempt, those movies were like a studio's attempt at Bookslaughter!

Mine happened when DD was very sick(breaks my heart just typing it) and not one person sent her so much as a card out of the lot I considered friends so I flipped and that was it. I dont even send their kids birthday cards anymore.
I got support from very unexpected places. And when OH was sick last year it just made me know I had made right decision. I came on here looking for financial help, get the shopping bill down and found the Elite. Stalked for a few months then joined. It was Happy Chappys antics that got me hooked.
The rest they say is history
That's nearly the same way I found the elite!
DH had died, we had no money what so ever and I was dealing with quite a lot of debt and having to pay for and organise a funeral while practically begging government depts for help of some sort. Because my national insurance direct debits were being counted towards someone else's NI number I was entitled to nothing until that was sorted out.
I was lucky enough to find a funeral home willing to let me pay for funeral in instalments and a fantastic minister to do the service and my fantastic aunt who knew exactly which benefit depts to pester to get help sorting my NI payments out so that I could get something.
The elite gave me something else to focus on and some funny things to read, it was a while later that I joined in and the rest, as they say, is history!SPC #329 £471/£500 banked

Reminded me of when my DS (he's deaf and hearing impaired) was young. He wandered off playing from outside the house. I realised within a few minutes and went to look for him. He knew that he wasn't allowed to leave the cul de sac and had never left it previously. He wasn't there and I got frantic. I went to the main road fearing the worst. He was nowhere to be seen. I went to go home to phone the police when I saw the local 'neighbour from hell' walking around the corner with DS firmly in tow. Thank goodness I didn't have a go at the neighbour!
He'd been walking his dog around the corner near to where a play area was and saw another man holding onto my DS and leading him away in the opposite direction to where we live. Neighbour from hell ran and caught up with the man and when he grabbed my DS, his dog jumped up at the other man who let go of my DS. Neighbour from hell explained that the man had a 'smiley' face untill his dog jumped at him.
I thanked him and took DS home. DS had thought that the man that was holding onto him was just being kind to take him to the play area.:eek::eek: Yes, I had warned him about strangers etc.
Another one from me. Me and my mum were walking down the road when a car screeched to a halt, a man jumped out and grabbed a boy off his bike and pulled him towards his car, the boy started screaming and kicking. My mum started shouting, thought the boy was being abducted and the man shouted back that he was just holding the boy until the police came as he had tried to steal the radio from his car.0
