Afternoon. I got a load of bakery whoopsies in A for 5p and 10p then popped to T and saw a whole side of salmon reduced from £20 to £10 then down to £4.55 :T they had 6.

Got a huge pork shoulder from £14 down to £4.30 so we are having that in half an hour :D

And hi to fudge cake :D

Heyyyyy Tiger :hello: Lovely to see you :D

its hard to stay away from here, I often get more joy help and understanding from everyone on here than my offline pals.

However tragic that may sound. They just don't get me and since I put foot down and stopped me the one who helped everyone else. I get a lot less contact, funny that ???

Ain't that true? :( Trouble is you can only afford to support others if you are supported by others, otherwise you run yourself into the ground :( Good on you girl for standing up for yourself and looking after you when others didn't want to repay your kindess with a little of their own :A You deserve it hun xxxxx

P.S Get back to work ;):rotfl:

Thank you to everyone who collects their children ♥

In the late 70s (before mobile phones & only call boxes)
I would ring my Father & he would always say start walking & I'll meet you. (Match Of The Day - Saturday nights)
Sometimes I'd be nearly home (3 miles along an unlit country road) before he arrived.
Anyway the moral of my story is - one time I rang him & started walking through Haslemere town centre.
A car pulled up & I thought gosh he was quick  only to realise it wasn't him. So carried on. The car pulls up again. I cross sides & head for main road.
Next thing - the car has driven over the pavement & blocked me in. The man gets out & comes round to grab me :eek::eek::eek: (outside The Georgian Hotel if anyone knows Haslemere)
Luckily my Father pulled up at this very time & I ran across the road to him. We had to turn around but tried to chase the car up the road but it had got away.
♥ So again a big Thank You to whoever watches over me ♥

When I was 15 I worked part time in a shop in Finchley with my friend and used to bus home together after work. She used to get off quite a way before me and I would move to the seat by the driver if it was a late finish. My mum would meet me at the bus stop (usually after bingo) it would have been arround 10.30pm ish. One night I walked from the bus to her and she said who is that man following you and when I turned round there was a man who had been staring at me before I had got on the bus at Finchley (my friend had commented to me about him staring) but he was at a completely different bus stop so we just ignored it. When he saw me meet my mum he walked back to the bus stop - my mum swears he was the image of the man they arrested a few weeks later for the railway rapes/murders in North London.

No. I just add the amount on when doing my shopping then pay with APGs. Usually need fruit & milk at least. Alway choose a young person & never had an issue. When using the Asda fivers, used to bulk shop by adding £10 to gift card. Managed to fill 2 Xmas cards this year by doing this & adding my big APGs from the glitches. Then they added another £12 in total as the Xmas bonus. Did not get the £5 back as not spent £40 but always wombled the next one.

So is it ok to get a Gift Card with an Apg? So if I had an APG going out of date and did not want to spend on another shop I could just buy a gift card with it .

    HAPPY NEW YEAR to ALL

Fudge Cake you have been missed by many, not only for your great lists and your simple explanations to the sometimes slightly confused among us, but simply missed. So pleased you have returned x

    Another for the absent list
    Princess melody where are you?

I would like to join in the 'Save your wombles' challenge please.
I don't get out to womble often as only usually shop once a week but this will get me out in the fresh air more. Looking at my past wobbling successes which are very small and probably non existent by others standards, I am setting myself a target of £250 for 2013.
Once I work out how I aim to put this running total into my signature.

I know my target is small but had I done this in 2012 it would have bought me my new galaxy tablet so will be the perfect amount for a treat come Xmas 2013.

If attempting an apg shop the Patak's cooking sauce (450g) is a good un. The 5 varieties to chose from are :- Jalfrezi, Balti, Dopiaza, Madras and Vindaloo.

    Asda £1.76
    Tesco £1 till 2/1/13
    Sainsbury's .88p till 25/1/13

I can confirm piri piri dtd worked thanks heaps op!!!

What is the net cost of the meal deal after dtd?

And a big thank you for confirming.

Was it in the fridge with the other meal deals? Was it stickered meal deal?

I reckon this will be a get it while you can as they could rectify it quite quickly by adding the piri piri to the offer.

What I do, is get a couple of items of shopping, like bread, fruit etc, whatever I actually need.

Then put everything on the conveyor belt but before the sa starts to scan I ask for maybe £5 or £10 to be put on my gift card. Then the shopping is scanned and I pay for everything, (shopping and money on gift card) with apg;s.

Done this quite a few times now and never had a problem.
