me and dd have come down with a nasty virus so we are camped out on the sofa, ds is into mischief while OH is preparing dinner.

(If anybody wonders why I'll be on here most of the day as usual it's because it's just a normal day for me, haven't celebrated it since I lost my DH, and then 2 weeks ago I lost my beloved elderly cat, who had seen me through the last few awful years with his love and devotion, so there's even less desire to feel festive. But there's many people in the world much, much worse off than me so I'm not looking for sympathy!)
