Mine are 8 and 12 so my mum and fil did not see either. My dad died when dd was 3 months so kids have no memory. Both my dad and fil died on 28 Dec different years so we get on with it though and make the best. Kids have to come first now and we tell them their grandparents would want them to be happy and have a good Xmas and New Year. Sorry for the long story.:(

My grandparents passed away long ago but I'll be travelling home to Scotland soon to see my parents!:beer:
