When I went yesterday morning i got there about 9.30 and the car park was slowly filling up, got a space easily.
Got out at about 11 and car park was full, attendants were in over spill car parks waiting for the main car parks to fill up.
Tried to go the day before in the afternoon but All roads were very busy and car parks full. So we decided to give it a miss.'Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle'0 -

My heart leapt when I saw about 20 of the Glamour mags in my local T's. Every last one was a 4 :mad:
Was getting one or two strange looks from the SA that seemed to be going round in circles though! Almost worth it for the look on her face!
I've only found 4's and most of them have gone now, but the magazines look as if they've been looked through before as a lot of the cards are bent.0 -
This post has brought back vivid memories of my parents. My mother passed away 14 yrs ago and yet it does seem like 14 hours ago.
A couple of years ago I was up in the loft looking for something when I found an old scarf that belonged to my mum, when I put the scarf to my face I could smell her perfume and felt as if she was sitting on the loft floor beside me. I had to stay up there for a while so no one knew that the tears were streaming down my face.
The pain never leaves when a parent passes, I still to this day shudder when I think of my mum.
On a happier note...I have enjoyed all the tales of glitches and hauls and may it continues next year!
I raise my hat to you all...a good bunch of peeps.
I wish one and all of you a healthy and glitchy coming year. xx:beer::beer:
you've made me reach for the tissue box (((hugs))))0 -

:rotfl: You should write it down.
Glad you got home safe, and I hope your feet recover soon.

Did you get many bargains?
I got what I needed, mainly stuff from Boots, used some of my points to pay for items.
That's a few more presents sorted for throughout the year.
Had a wander round some of the other shops, only got a few things. Did not go too mad. Don't like meadowhall when its too busy, which is why i choose to go in the mornings usually.
Like you have said Boots have lots of reduced items, and they were filling shelves when I was there. Plus they had a few cages of items waiting to go onto shelves.'Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle'0
