Just managed to catch up with you all, I can't remember when I started reading/lurking on here. I got the batteries that were glitching. I do remember when we were all finding the 1p stuff in T's.
I still got some of the leaf trays/ironing cleaning cloths and gel air freshners. Then there was the andrex on the go.
:A Sorry to read this QPR, :A:( As if 2012 has not been bad enough, I wont chronicle it all now but some of you know it has, I have just heard that a friend that I've known forever has passed away from Ovarian Cancer.
What makes it even harder is that we dont live that close anymore but I was the first person she told & I went to her first chemo with her & looked after her afterwards I encoraged her to tell her friends & neighbours down there & if they offered help she should accept it but as time went on she didnt want me to go down & didnt even want to talk to me on the phone, & she also didnt want any of our mutual friends to know she was ill so I've had to avoid everyone
So upset tonightMorning everyone:)Today is my bitter sweet day, It would have been my Dads Birthday:(But it is also my Wedding Anniversary:)And MrLala has just given me a beautiful pair of Tiffany Earrings:T:T(Sometimes he doesnt get he MSE bit;)) But has agreed not to go out tonight and I'm cooking whoopsie steak for dinner;)Wet & windy here so just off for a bit of shopping with him.Hope everyones good and for the first time in about a week I'm all caught up:)
Big hugs to QPR

It is well know for being called Meadowhell throughout the local area:rotfl::rotfl:'Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle'0 -
thanks:) mimi will be pleased too:D I haven't [STRIKE]wombled [/STRIKE] shopped in boots for ages:D
I thought they had stopped doing these? They are good for buying the exfoliating sponges and cleansing sponges which are priced at about £4.75, so technically free, especially if you have wombled the voucher. They are perfect for making gifts or to keep about in case.0 -
Wow Bubbs that's a big distance.
Went to meadowhall yesterday morning, tried to go on Thursday but car parks were full including all the overspill ones.
Do you visit this neck of the woods often?
Im risking it tomorrow, DS1 wants to hit the sales, he has money burning a hole in his pocket. His shopping list is :eek::eek:If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -
