Also, may I just add (and thanks to MRSLDS for posting this): Sachets of 10 Quaker oat so simple down to 59pence at tesco express so if you happen to be going in one, just have a wee look. .

If you are nearer an As Local, the Oatso with Honey were reduced to clear at 80p in our store yesterdsay, so assume they could be in other stores as well.

Also got Terry's Chocolate Oranges today reduced to 50p and large boxes of Maltesers to £1.50. Terry's are slightly smaller this year and are no longer made in York (production moved overseas :(), but I couldn't start a boycott on that basis as ... we like them too much :o.

Hope you all had a good xmas, not been able to post much as been busy!

Not been shopping for about 5 days, but look what I found in A today.

    img2302wy.jpg

FF were £3, they also had tobelle for £2, York fruits £2, Eliz Shaw £2.50, and a couple of others I can't remember.

If they are now reduced in As there is little point getting them (apart from they are delicious!) as nowhere will be cheaper ... so you will be paying £3?

  • Hi, I nipped out this afternoon with DS. We are getting my mum's old tropical fish tank for his 2 gold fish so had to go get new filter material for it and have a look for 2 new fish to go into it. We ended up in Lisburn so decided to go to pets at home, then Toscos and finally our Fav fish shop Grosvenor tropicals which used to be on the beersbridge road near to my aunts house.

Well in pets at home he was looking at their new colour kids tanks, he has wanted a red one since they first came out but I couldn't justify £60 for it when we had bigger ones for not much more. He spotted that they were down to £45 but I still thought it was too much until I saw the top box with a reduced sticker on it, it was down to £22  We lifted it down to check it over only to find the light unit wasn't working and that was why it was reduced but everything else in it was still ok and it was red so I bought him it for his birthday in 2 weeks time :T
    This is it
    http://www.petsathome.com/shop/aquastart-red-tank-by-aqua-one-80653
and he's so pleased with it. He's already decided that the baby mollies we found in our 3ft tank will be rehomed in it.
I just need to take a look at the light unit first to see if the shop missed something like a loose wire then we can put the spare mature filter I have into it and it's good to go :D.
I also saw that some tanks were being sold with a free £5 fish voucher so asked would we still get one eventhough it was reduced and told by SA that we would so that saves us when we go to buy the new fish, taking the fact that we were going to buy new fish anyway the tank effectively will have cost me £17, not bad for what it is.

In Toscos he spotted a £98 TomTom in a plastic box with a reduced £10 price on it, this was quickly picked up by the SA as the wrong price as it went through the till :( We also saw the cd player but it went through at the correct price.
Aw well it was worth a shot :rotfl:
    SPC #329 £471/£500 banked
    SPC 2014 £1100:D

Today, have been to tesco x2 whsmith x2 and the glamour mags had the vouchers ripped out that were obviously ' winners' mad face! Buy the darn magazine, its like stealinh!

    .

makes me mad too  I haven't seen any ripped out in my town (will be very  if I do as I like to think people are honest around here), but I have spotted quite a few mags with missing GC in central london. The T's opposite my work always has the free gifts ripped out of mags:mad:
  • Good evening everyone.

My heart leapt when I saw about 20 of the Glamour mags in my local T's. Every last one was a 4 :mad:

Was getting one or two strange looks from the SA that seemed to be going round in circles though! Almost worth it for the look on her face!

motivate, I bought the big tubs too. yesterday, I bought 2 tubs and some yogs on 2 4 £3, but today I spotted trifles on bogof, so I bought:

    6 x 2pk trifle £1 each and BOGOF

2 x big tubs of flora, £3 each and BOGOF

Paid £3 after £3 moc:) OH was like "what are we going to do with 4 big tubs of flora?" PMSL:D I will give some to my mum. They have a long date on them. Mine expire 4/13:)

Is this 2 separate shops ith moc Tia.

the ones i've highlighted were bought in one transaction. The other option is to buy 4 tubs of flora in one transaction. Or, any dairy products on BOGOF that total £12 (original price) and use one £3 off dairy moc and pay £3 (if all items are bogof)
