I also got a tablet but have not picked it up yet. I was hoping to use it as a book thing for long journeys too but have not got a clue how to upload books on to it. and I also want to put music on to it. can I do this for free from the web or do I have to pay for them? sorry I am very dim when it comes to gadgets.

Go to the play store, download amazon kindle reader.
Then go on amazon and download the free books :D

There is a kobo reader too.

I've been doing it on my galaxy tab. If your lucky you get £1 mp3 vouchers for downloading your first book, app and mp3, even if they are free :T

    Good afternoon to all,

Belated christmas greetings to everyone. Been a poorly household over christmas, but finally think we are getting over it.
Hope everyone had a great day.
Hugs to all that need them.
Just a reminder ventured to Mr T's lastnight for essential supplies and while there it was reduction time and the party food multibuy is still coming off the reduced prices. Bought 4 packs of the potatoe skins at 75p each instead of £3.00 apack  got to checkout and £4.00 was taken off, so free and £1.00 off my shopping.
    Wet and gloomy down south.
    xxx

They had these yesterday in a tesco i went to reduced, i was standing there trying to work out if they were worth buying, when i noticed the date 24th dec

    Morning all.
When me and dh were moving in together i parted with his mom telling me "dont bother giving him salad, he dont like it" oh ok no problem. Well 12 months down the line he said one day "can we have some salad for tea" i said but you dont like it? "yes i do" he eats more of a salad that i do :rotfl::rotfl:
He also never use to eat garlic etc, one day i cooked garlic bread, he ran all round the flat that we lived in at that time and opened all the windows telling me i was disgusting lol. So i waited till he was drunk gave him some garlic bread and he will eat a little bit now, but he is still a very plain and boring with what he eats.

Yeah and I remember the first time he tried peppers at my house - you'd have thought I'd given him a piece of poo to eat :rotfl::rotfl:

Just returned from Morries, to pick up the apples I forgot to put on my last shop A v S (well, not the exact same apples but you know what I mean). M store had obviously lost out due to the Xmas Day - lots of cox and gala apples all best before today. Guy started knocking them down - so got three times as much (i.e. as many as will last) for a fraction of the price.

Not done any real 'price collection' today as it's Sat not Wed and I suspect comparisons vs M don't kick in properly till next week. But noticed the Wilkinson Sword Shaving Bowl now back at £2 in M, so I'm removing it from my S v A list! (You could therefore do A v M next week for the bowl, but price at M might then have gone back up!) Apologies if you've bought this S v A (but hopefully I've saved you a lot more than 20p elsewhere).

Also the Bisto Fav. Granules 500g £2 in M, but even that's still 40p/100g. Nonetheless, another deletion from S v A!

Next week looks like the Aero Biscuits original or peppermint will be A v M, as well as the CDM 360g just about hanging on.

Away from A-comparable items, they have the Savers Yule Logs down to 50p in M (don't know when they expire though, but chocolate rolls are chocolate rolls).

Also saw the Xmas stuff reduced in Aldi when I went yesterday, but Xmas Pudding still £1.99 (still too expensive as this year's pudding, still in date, was bought a year ago for £1), so I'm still holding out on the Aldi stuff.

[Also I've added some kipper fillets onto the Sains lists - own brand, so can be A v S, as they're on multibuy, slightly cheaper per g than the M ones.]
