As I am feeling generous and in a sharing mood, I've got the following items down as being Sains vs A (correct as at 28/12/12 so will need rechecking tomorrow as prices change each day):

Various Kingsmill breads 800g - I think all varieties compare but I haven't checked in detail - need to be bought in 2s: S £1.35 x2 vs A 2 for £2 (NB This hasn't been Morrisons-checked this week to see if M is £1 and therefore whether it would be best A v M)
    Roberts Bakery Thick Soft White/Mega Thick Soft White/Medium Sliced White Bread 800g - in 2s: S £1.35 x2 A 2 for £2
    Kingsmill Love to Toast Waffles (6) - in 2s: S 2 for £1.50 vs A 2 for £1
    Cherrytree Bakery Chorley Cakes - S £1.00 vs A 89p (but T's non-comparable Aunt Sally Chorley Cakes are 84p)
Weightwatchers 2 Raspberry Cheesecakes (2x100g) S £1.99 x2 A 2 for £2.50 (but, unless you have WW MOCs, other cheesecakes are better value: I think some types of Sada own brand vs T in 2s)
Mr Kipling Puddings - Chocolate or Sticky Toffee (2x85g) S £1.26 A £1 (but not v. good since: Sains have put prices down so only 26p towards BM, and not as good per gram as Cadbury Puddings when they are at £1 (2x110g)).
Sains Basics Carrots & Broccoli 320g 75p (believed non-comp to A therefore no Sada vs S and 10% cheaper and Sains believed to be cheaper as long as T doesn't have multibuy offer on on its versions which compare to A - when it does, A v T on those is cheaper per g!)
Sains Basics Fruit Cocktail Trifle 600g (all worked out as cheaper per unit, at least it was 2 weeks ago, of S, T, M & A, and of course no comparable version to do A vs S on)
Birds Eye Steak Pies 4 per pack - 620g S £3 A £2.50 (but A were £1 a year or so ago, before pack size went down by about 60g and A went OOS on those)
    Youngs Salmon Crumble 300g S £2 A £1
Walls Soft Scoop Vanilla Ice Cream 1.8L (mad if you ask me, at one of the coldest points of the year) S £1.79 A £1.40 (T £2)
Sains Basics Shepherds Pie 300g 76p (but Cottage Pie cheaper in A)
    Sains 5 Chicken Bites (5x60g) - 2 for £1 (ending 31/12/12)
    New Covent Garden Seasonal Veg Soup 600g S £2.10 A £1 (but S v A now 10p more than it used to be when M was £1 and used to be A v M)
New Covent Garden Leek & Potato 600g - as above
New Covent Garden Spring Veg Minestrone 600g - S £2.10 A £1 (not sure whether or not M have)
Kelloggs Rice Krispie Squares Rocky Road 4x34g S £1.99 A £1 (but again not checked M price)
    Nestle Aero Bubbles Peppermint 113g S £1.59 A £1
For what they are worth or not, Green Giant Hearts of Palm 410g S £2.15 A £1.83 and Princes Stewed Steak 400g S £2.89 A £2
I did have McDougalls Crumble Topping Mix 450g on at S 99p and A 77p but then checked and M was about 60-odd p a month ago, so would have been A v M (except M's own brand was even cheaper per g therefore ruled out the McDougalls)
    Askeys Dessert Wafers (48) - S 58p A 48p (T 58p), or an A v W filler
    Galaxy Milk Chocolate 390g - S £3.65 A £2 (but Av M on CDM 360g was slightly cheaper per g)
    Cadbury Fudge 6pack (147g) - S £1.09 A 75p
    Mars Bar 4pack (4x58g) - S £1.89 A £1 (NB: This came back N/A on a shop done on 27/12/12)
    Nestle Vice Versas 126g - S £1.59 A £1
    Cadburys Milk Chocolate Digestives 300g - S £1.75 A £1 (but cheaper alternatives avail.)
    Twix Biscuit Fingers (16x23g) - in 2s: S £2.60x2 A 2 for £3.50 (T £2.50x2)
    Horlicks Light Malt Chocolate Drink (32g) - buy 5 (or 10) S 4 for £1 + 27p vs A 5 for £1 (T 27p x5)
Horlicks Light Malt Drink (32g) - as above
    Bavaria Lager Shandy (6x330ml) - S £3 A £1
    Fosters 20x440ml S £17.99 A £12
    Carribean Twist Pina Colada 700ml - when bought in 3s: S £2 x3 vs A 3 for £5 (T £2.50 x3)
    Magners Pear Cider (8x568ml) S £9 A £8
    Scrumpy Jack English Premium Cider 4x500ml S £3.89 A £3 (T £4)
    Martini Asti Spumante 75cl S £7.29 A £5 (T £6.29)
    Febreze Set & Refresh Apple Spice Unit S £5 A £2 (T £3)
    Dettol Pure & Power Multi-purpose KITCHEN wipes (36) S £2 A £1 (T £1.80)
    Moshi Monsters Bath & Shower Gel 500ml S £3 A £1 (this currently coming back N/A)
    Various Nivea for men shower gels 250ml in 4s: S £2 x 4; A 4 for £3
    Wilkinson Sword Finest Bristle Shaving Brush: S £4.29 A £2.68 (T £4.29)
Veet Easy Grip Ready to Use Wax Strips (20) S £7 A £4.98
Palmolive Aquarium Handwash 300ml (and prob. other Palmolive handwashes too) S £1.99 A £1 (but waiting for A to go on 4 for £3)
    Beechams Powder Capsules 16 - S £3 A £1.90 (but much cheaper in 99p stores)
    Benylin Cold & Flu Day & Night Max Strength Capsules (16) S £3.60 A £2.50 (T £4)
    Durex Play Feel Lubricant (50ml) S £3 A £2 (T £3)
    Mates Intensity Condoms (12) S £5.99 A £4.99
    Mates Natural Condoms (12) S £5.99 A £3.50
    Mates Variety Condoms (12) S £7 A £3.50
    Johnsons Baby Oil 300ml S £2.75 A £1.50 (T £2.49)
    Sains Chicken Thighs & Drumsticks 660g £1.50
Sains Profiteroles with Chocolate Sauce (20, 320g) £1
Sains Basics Pork Chops (frozen) (800g) £2.50
    Cirio Tomato Puree Double Concentrate 4x70g - in 2s: 2 for £1

Victoria Foods Postman Pat Cake Mix 200g - 99p (but price incr. from used to be T 75p)
Sains Basics Cornflakes 500g - 35p (price incr. from 31p - need to chk M - and see if still 31p if so buy at M or T vM)
    Weightwatchers Ginger & Lemon Cookies (6, 114g) - 75p
Bull Dog Original Face Wash 175ml £2.25
    Sains Interdental Toothbrushes (2) £1
    Sains Basics Handwash 500ml 38p
Skin Therapy Bronzing Mousse 150ml £4.14
Dove Body Silk Beauty Cream 300ml £2.49
    Bernard Matthews Turkey Nuggets (30) - 2 for £3
Walkers Wotsits Really Cheesy Corn Puffs (12x17g) - 2 for £2.70
Sains Basics Refuse Sacks (30) 73p
    Bic 1 Sensitive Disposable Razors (10) - 93p (but Bic 1, 20pk cheaper AvS)
    Sanatogen A-Z Complete (60) - in 3s: S 5.59 x2 (any 3 for 2) vs A 3 for £10
    Kingsmill 50/50 rolls (6) S £1.10 A 86p (but I prefer them when they're 2 for £1 at a competitor which unfortunately not so at present)
Sains Party Bites Chicken Breast Satay (20, 200g) £1.12 (until 1/1/13)
Sains Cream of Tomato Soup (4x400g) £1.79

    Sea Spray Wholetail Scampi 235g - 2 for £3.99
Sains Boil in the Bag Kipper Fillets with Butter 220g - 2 for £2

Tampax seems best in some of the 20 packs, in 2s, A vs T

    Note:
    Max BM £10
Numbers to buy shows the ones that give highest BM - other numbers may sometimes be available
    Alcohol multibuys are exc. Scotland
Prices based on mysupermarket.co.uk as at 28/12/12 - should check asda.com as Brandview (for Sains) take prices from there

Taken me longer than expected, simply to write out my already-prepared list of items, so I'll see you later. I'll just catch up on the rest of the thread (and reply if I feel the need to) and then I'll retire to sleep. Bye for now.

We shared so much together and there isn't a day that something reminds me of her or things we did but at least now I know & I can hear her saying "Onwards & upwards"

She sounds like a very positive person. That's probably what kept her going. As for those memories, they are precious. When you don't feel so raw about your loss those memories will make you smile. It's such a horrible time. If I was in charge I'd make sure no one had to go through it:(

I saw the pics of your lovely cat earlier. What a little star...and obviously likes posing for the camera x

On the hunt for a new Double Electric Blanket for my sister. Any ideas anyone

Talking of glitches, the slumber down double electric blankets were reduced to about £3/ £4 last year, I think it was around March time. I know they are in T's sale at £20 at the moment but watch this space:wink::wink:

Sorry Silent Night, lol, too mutch glitched rose wine :)
If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:

24 wash Ariel at £4 is still 16p per wash. If you do a Sainsbobs target shop they have Persil small and mighty 54 wash for £6. Works out 11.1p per wash, much better value ;)

That'd be a Sainsbobs targetted shop in A then, 10% cheaper.

Im behind too Tinyshoes. I don't think I need biscuits......my OH and I were trying to resolve some storage issues earlier. I need a shelf glitch

Im not shopping now until Sunday. I expect all the voddy and baileys tins will be long gone by then. I went to Ts yesterday and the reductions were appalling! hardly anything reduced at all.

Hope you had a nice Christmas x

One of my Ts is doing the 75% reductions much earlier than usual before 5pm. I just happened to stumble on them so have gone back around the same time. Today the party food was 85% off. Gave me a very good return for 4 packs. :)

I checked the date on the biscuits before I bought them and they are all very long dates, best one is next August so just right to take camping. :D

Had a very hectic time Claire was so tired still have rather dark circles around my eyes . It was all a bit much for my mum I was very worried yesterday but she seems to have picked up a bit again today. :) Glad to hear you are feeling much better. :T

I have been sorry to read quite a few people's stories about their loved ones with bad experiences in hospital and anniversaries of passing. Big hugs to them. :A:A:A

What is your shade bubbs, might have a box I could spare to send in your direction. :rotfl:

I have been to chicken to try any foam ones I have, got a couple of freebies from John Frieda coupons think that was last year, and very cheap brand ones from Superdrug and Ts. Was plucking up courage to use them when my fave Nice and Easy became available with APG. :D
