  • Off to bed now
    Need a rest from blowing my nose :(
    see you all next time.
  • Most of my returns were easy but the SADA one wasn't, I'd used 2 APGs to pay for almost £18 of a £40 spend so fully expected to get the £18 on a gift card (never done this before but know a few on here have got this). SA phoned boss to see what way it worked with the APG and was told that I'd loose that money if I wanted to return the PS3 games :eek:
    I said I should at least get what I paid in cash and boss told her yes I would but wouldn't get anything for the APG money, I told her I'd return one and get the £20 for it then keep the other to give to someone instead of the store getting even more money for it if they sold it again.

    It does say in the terms and conditons to give customers a refund minus the value of the apg etc that they used to buy it . However i know if it was me i would give it on a giftcard, its not like you can use the money elsewhere so the stores not losing out :P

    speaking of favourite glitches i liked when tesco used to take any vouchers as long as they stocked the product. if i remeber right i didnt buy much h and b stuff with the vouchers but one of them worked on anything (think it was a points one that worked as 50p off) so i used it on quite alot of vodka :):) toscos dtd was also a good glitch-finest pizza was rubbish and i dont think i have had a frijj milkshake since ...

    In As today (ex-Netto, so A Local) they had a number of items reduced, may be in other stores as well;

    Duracell 20 packs AAs - SEL £4, till £3
    Oatso Simple Honey - reduced to 80p (10 sachets)
    Rockie bars - yellow caramel 16s - 80p/blue chocolate 9s 50p
    Various pens, hooks, no more nails - 30p
    Birthday candles 10 pack - 10p

    Gallo wine Pink £2, White £3
    Ariel 52 wash - £4

    Nicorettes were half price reduced to clear as well

    Over the past year, when coffee and cooking sauces were reduced in A Locals it was a change in product range in store and didn't apply to larger stores but was available in multiple A Locals.

    Favourite glitch this year was the Ambrosia As cereal/cleaning glitch, though for me it was short lived and I have run out as only found out about your thread and this "offer" at the end :(.

    Most "profitable" (not sold them, just in terms of stash!) has been the MT/FF glitch though I am sure it cannot be good for us :), we have managed to give some away for presents, school fair, homeless collection etc so have shared the love.

    I did very well out if the reduced coffee in my local ex netto asda. I had 40+ packs of ground coffee for around £20 ish. I use at least a pack a week and depending on traffic, sometimes more. I am very sad to see the stash depleting. That, along with the coke glitch was one of the best deals of the year for me
