Price Promise in today on a full shop and nothing compares with Morrison = all N/A. Have Morries suddenly stopped selling bread and milk?

    Grrrr!

  • Re fav glitches -
how could I forget the WHS giftcard one :)
Bought my new widescreen tv from Argos - with Argos giftcards purchased with WHS giftcards (before the clampdown on buying giftcards with giftcards).
lots and lots of books in store/book bundles on line for grandchildren.Have a shoe box full of greetings cards as well (some a bit dodgy as went for the cheapest, in the end, for max payback).

I nearly wore out the floor from card display to counter in a particular store :rotfl:

My grandchildren couldn't believe the amount of books I was getting they were so happy, as I was using the £5 off (I think it was £15 spend) as well. Wish it had gone on for longer and I had really focussed on it.....could have got a laptop from Argos as well :)

    Evening all

Been lurking again last few days, back to working so just been trying to keep up.

Thank you everyone for the stories, memories and hopefully plans for the next year. Here's to a glitchy 2013 :)

  • J20baby on Grabbit just posted about the H&M free £5 gift card, which reminded me to tell you all that today I spent £7 on sale trousers and got one of these free gift cards for my next spend, you only have to spend £5 over and apparently this includes sale items! :D

Have you rung them this morning and if so what did they say?

Ive done a couple of Sainsburys brand match shops this week/last week as I could not face going back into sada again.

One card I have I only use for odd £1 spends so it reguarly gives me conditional spends £2 wys £20 so these are ideal.

    Mostly my shops have been

    2 scan meatballs £3.98 (sada £3)
    warburtons bread £1.45 (sada £1)
Pepsi max 8 pack cans £3.99 (sada £2)

Plus whatever own brand stuff I need with however many pepsi packs to make the shop up to £20.

Sorry I didn't catch up with this thread until now. I have rang them: in fact I was on the phone to them at the very same time as your post. Somewhat unusually, it appears my receipt has got lost in the system but the only other time this has happened before, they were able to retrieve the details later. They are therefore going to ring me back - possibly tomorrow - but told me I will "definitely be compensated" if it turns out the competitor would have been cheaper (which of course they would have been).

I think the amount of extra Nectar points I get - by £20 shop then brandmatching back to £10 and then spending the £10 voucher generally on their cheaper items, with Nectar points from that - they think I'm spending a lot more and soon invited me onto their adpoints where I collect points for just watching ads (bit disappointing though when sometimes there is a shortage of new ads and I don't get the 250 points maximum per week) - I also use Nectar search.

My shop was actually an approx. £22.50 shop with £2.50 spend from Nectar points. Then brand match back to £10 (when it works) and it's equivalent to £2.50 off something £10 elsewhere (and £2.50 is more than 10% of £10 - with Sada, you'd get an extra £1 if a competitor's total bill was £10, not an extra £2.50).

Coming soon - as I'm feeling generous, my S vs A items.
