    Helloooooooooooooooo :wave:

    oh its such a depressing day :( my baby is 5! how did this happen? DH promised me when she was born that she would always be a baby, the lieeeeeeeees!! :rotfl:

    She is thrilled with her tv which is up on her wall already (DIY daddy lives up to his name ;)) she is very much looking forward to birthday cake (the only part of tea worth eating tonight it seems)

    No savings today unfortunately but hopefully will have some soon ;)

    I have listed my crosstrainer on Fleabay for £15, but the auction ends Friday, and so far I have no bids. Should I drop the price, or hold out for someone to bid at the last minute?

    I'm new to selling, have no idea what to do!

    Hi Everyone – I’ve lurked for a while but we’ve made a massive step for us of contacting CCCS to set up a DMP as we stuck our heads in the sand a bit last year about how much we really owed and now its just got too much and we’re facing up to it. If we stick to the DMP we’ll be debt free by July 2014 but we’re aiming to put every extra bit of money we can into it and are aiming to be debt free by Xmas so the support of a thread like this would really do me good.

    In the process now of setting up the DMP just waiting for new bank details then will send everything off to them and send the letters off to the creditors – nervous about the consequences of it but I think its the best thing for us and we’ll get rid of the debt which is the main thing.

    Currently owe £0/£8175

    Welcome :wave: you are #127. Well done for getting your DMP sorted, let's hope you get to where you want to be by Xmas :T
    Love this thread I suppose lots of people already do this but I've bought our meat online through Hugh Fern Witty Thingies posh blokes website. It's organic and fresh and comes direct from the farmer £90 for half a pig - already cut up £85 for half a lamb including postage. It's £15 for a joint where I live. I add in a few free range chickens and mince at that's lasts us 8 months frozen saves a fortune and is fab meat.:T
    Okay I think I've got this now. Number 113 £213 / £6373

    Can you put up a link to the website pleasE? Sounds v interesting but I can't find it :o
    DMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

    End of month update for me now all payments out.

    #007 150.07/ 39936.31. That's about 0.03% LOL! But to be fair, I declared my total after a load of payments had already been made, so will start proper next month.
    I'm at 17.2% paid of whole amount now though.

    MSE day, I've had a nosebleed so can't go to yoga/climbing that's £9.50 saved. I've just put £15 back into the bank from last week...feels really odd putting money back into my bank account. Does anyone else get nosebleeds when they go from it being really cold outside, to really warm inside? I feel like I've got a ridiculous amount of pressure in my nose :(

    Sorry to hear about the cholesterol, is it one of those that can be sorted out by drinking more water?

    not sure! i'm going to cut out naughty things like butter, try and do some more exercise etc... i don't smoke and i rarely drink so i'm guessing my cause is just being lazy! lol.
