Thanks everyone, I think I've just made my friends day by saying he can have the tickets
I don't know anyone that watches football, so just chose his team in case it came up. He hates his job, so I think I've put a ray of sunshine over a somewhat cloudy day.
Oh and I just use the MSE forum for comps. I've made myself a little spreadsheet of dailies, which if I use the usb mouse I can complete them in about 10 mins, and I've also bookmarked which page tomorrows comps start from and work my way through those only entering the ones I want to win though as there are quite a few.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

A whole 24 hours away from the thread and only a mere 4 & 1/2 pages to catch up with! What is the world coming to?? :rotfl:Ooh first competition win, just won football tickets
I chose a team my friend like so he can have them, I'm sure he'll be quite pleased with those.
Yay. Well done. :T Hopefully there'll be lots more. I've had a few decent comp wins the last couple of years - the best was a weekend for myself and the other half at a cookery school in Ireland and a little compact camera (which served as a marvellous Crimbo pressie for my sister who ruined her brand new camera by dropping it in the sand on holiday having never used it!).
I've never used the comping board on the forum as it confuses me a bit on how to keep track.0 -

Hi everyone
I'm totally new to this website but have really enjoyed reading all your motivating posts. I have a Barclaycard credit card that I'm DESPERATE to shed this year..... could I possibly join you all. I currently have £5600 to pay off. Eeeeeeek. I really need to start making big overpayments as the interest is killing me and I'm just getting nowhere.

Right...confession time...
We booked our holiday this year (DH got me drunk if you remember ) and I had £700 sitting on an interest paying CC from that and Xmas overspending which I have been chipping away at but not declaring. DH's freelance payment has been delayed so I have transferred the money to a 0% CC
I am now adjusting my total to £45k  but it is all 0% and I can start chipping away at the next one which runs out in March.DMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -

Well done with the no spending, I have done a weekly shop, a small top up shop and a visit to soft play. Not doing well at all
