    I was only away for a weekend wasn't I?!?:rotfl: I know you're not due for a few months yet - don't worry!

Suzitiger I seem to have become the resident go-to in my office for IT related issues/spreadsheets/word functions. I'm about to share my amazing and wonderful secret with you - GOOGLE IT!

Oh...my...GOD. I really didn't think of that ROTF, how silly of me :) Thank you very much I will google now :D

Unless it's network related which I can't fix myself, I rarely call IT helpdesk...I G00gle everything first. I've fixed a good proportion of my own IT problems over time :)

suzitiger if you do a G00gle search for, I don't know, spreadsheet idiot guide or Excel basic user guide or something like that and then still in the searchbox type "filetype : pdf" (but no spaces either side of the colon....I typed it and then it came out in the post with a smilie sticking its tongue out in the middle - grrrr!) it's more likely to bring up a ready made sheet that will suit your purpose and you can just print off. If you've Adobe reader you can open it fine and I'm pretty sure that most browsers have a built in pdf fiile reader you can print from anyway??
Or you can also do filetype:doc to bring up Word docs related to your search, filetype: ppt to bring up a Powerpoint presentation etc. etc. Hope that helps? :)

Thank you Eddi too, maybe I should go for a job in IT and do this, I would make more money then I am on now :rotfl:

starting to lose my bloody temper now with this agency. we've signed 6 months though so i guess we are stuck here until february.

apparently there's 'nothing wrong' with my water tank even though the guy said it needs replacing, still no idea if anyone's fixing my door and my shower, and i'm just frankly peed off. CAB was no help they said you just have to keep pestering them.
  • I've counted up my loose change tub and I have £4.13 - so I will keep going and cash that in on pay day! I also sold some DVDs to CEX last week.

Just moved house and absolutely loving it here. Just bought a HUGE bag of veg from the greengrocer for £5.06 (still to see if it's any good mind). Cats are absolutely loving it too. Debts are taking a backseat this month whilst we settle in as I'm sure there's things that need to be bought. However, all bills have reduced and I'm definitely getting my £2k in next months pay packet for my employee referral for my old colleague :D yay \o/

amr at least they are sending someone out to give you a second opinion, I don't know if I'd hold my breath on getting a new one though... I wondered if it would be safe to wrap an old duvet around the water tank to help insulate it? It must be possible to get some cheap insulation if not.

My housemate is moving out, and I'm a little tempted to take over his room. My room is fine, but the wall through to the neighbours is really thin, and I'm tired of being woken up all the time. It's £30/m extra for the sake of a lie in, when I'm also potentially (hopefully) moving in a few months, so I can't decide if it's worth it.
