Planning on moving to a new city in 3 months, makes it difficult to move to a new flat in the city you currently live in.... I have found some ear plugs that almost block out the 3yo next door (unsupervised in the adjoining bedroom most of the morning), but unfortunately don't block out the full blast music they send out at 8.15am on a Sunday. Decided to go round and ask them to turn it down, but they couldn't hear me knock over the music. A full nights sleep is almost worth losing the £300 deposit over....0

if we lived off beans we'd be rich, but my OH hates beans:rotfl:we just spend too much on our weekly shop as we bulkstock when stuff is on offer. i have so much pasta and jars of sauce !! need to empty the freezer too, its mostly random bits and bobs
sooo annoyed at the agency .they sent us a letter on friday, received it yesterday, to say our inspection is on wednesday. i thought they had to give a weeks notice?! anyway i rescheduld it because there is someone coming out in the morning and i'm not leaving work twice in one day.0 -

Time to start saving for some holiday spends! :j
thats a pretty good deal :j no holiday for us, we will do a couple of day trips on our week off in august though0 -
welcome back Eddi
how has the course been? thank you for the congratulations xx
Hi Kerri ... blimey you've got such a lot going on *sending lots of good wishes*
The course has been really good and so interesting. Writing essays after such a long time was quite scary at first but after the first good mark I found I could still manage to pull something together :j
In hopeful anticipation of passing, I've registered myself to start on the full BSc Hons Psychology degree in October  funds willing if I get the approval for the vastly reduced access fee for my first module. If not I may have to delay until next years March start. It's a lot of money over the next few years but it's an investment in greater career opportunities in a field I've been interested in for a long time. I'm going to budget round saving and paying upfront each module rather than going down the route of student loans etc.minicooper272 wrote: »Welcome back Eddi - when will you find out how you did?
Hello MiniThe marks come back in September they say.
Just closed a CC account :j I now only have 5 in my name and one of those only has £149 on it which I shall pay off and close next payday :j
So I will then have approx £21k on CCs in my name  and DH will have about £25k
I still can't get over how we managed to borrow all this and get in this situation. Still, it's our fault, we will pay back every penny (and god knows how much in interest!) and WE WILL NEVER DO IT AGAIN!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
:T Yay at closing CC. Onward and upward :T0
