  • Well my productive day didn't quite go to plan - I've only been awake for half an hour! :p

Welcome (again!) to all the new newbies that joined while I was in the land of nod :D

I was looking into moving OH's OD onto a CC to try and get rid of it - there are a couple in this weeks MSE email - either 0% for 23 months but 4% BT fee, or 6.9% for life of balance for 1.5% fee (I think - I was reading this last night at work and have slept since then!) so if your sums work out it might be worth it (not sure it is for us as OH's bank still seem to think he is a student so he doesn't get charged very much at all - or so he says! :rotfl:)

Anyway, only a couple of hours left until fleabay stuff finishes! It's been ages since I've sold anything on there it's quite exciting now clearing out more junk and getting paid for it!! :A

I couldn't resist paying a little bit more off the beast today. I have paid another £30 into the ISA made up of £20 my DMIL knocked off the money I give her for looking after DS as she hadn't had him as much due to Christmas and £10 from my 'save the change' that had accumalated in my LTS* account.

    Grand total now at:

    #82 £2116/£18064

DS put my phone in my cuppa and has broke it but I have found out I can still get £45 for it even though it is fried. I am due an upgrade next month so am using DH phone until then. DH has just upgraded on a cheaper tariff and is raising the cost of his new phone from ebaying his audio equipment.
    Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
    Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
    Make £2021 extra income - £99.75
  • £45 for a tea soaked phone is really good! What kind of phone is it?

It's tough to get started on something if you are not well. I hope you feel better soon. Why not just do an essay plan first? What's it about?

  • Hi everyone!

Sorry I've been AWOL for a few days, work gets stupidly busy during tax return season!

Anyway, I've done some sums and our actual outstanding balance is not the meagre £15,000 I estimated. Its a gobsmackingly huge £19,362  so please could you adjust my target SpagBol?

On a brighter note, yesterday I cleared an overdraft :j and paid £1 to a credit card :) making my totals now:-

    #058 - £316.52/£19,362 - 1.6%

Happy new year everyone :D onwards and upwards!
