whole amount will probably go on the debt now.
The first thing I am buying when all debt has gone is a macbook air. I will deserve it by then :rotfl:
The bootsale will probably be packed tomorrow, especially as most shops will be closed. Not sure that people can cope with 1 day of not buying something!
That's good to hear, we were worried it might be empty with the triple whammy of the weather (just started snowing again !!!!!!!), Easter and the clocks changing.
Good news about the perfume so you can throw the whole £550 at your debt!DMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -
Does anyone feel like, other than being DF, they don't have much to look forward to???
being DF is an achievement in itself but feel like there's not much else to look forward to doing, so i'm constantly stuck in a cycle of being bored of now, looking to what is next.

Yes I know what you mean but I think this has been a problem for me my entire adult life, not just when in debt! In fact I think it's one of the reasons why I am IN debt, I always have a project on the go and often it used to involve buying stuffDMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -
Long-overdue update: I now have £2595 of debt, a reduction of £779 since the start of the year. Considering we're 3 months into the year I'm pretty disappointed by that; we had a massive overspend last month and need to get back on track now.
Should hopefully clear the last amount by the end of May at the latest. If I can raise £600 by the end of April, we could be completely clear by then which would be fantastic. So, things we will be doing to achieve that:
- eBay clearout. We already have a box of things to sell. We will use Easter Monday to photograph and list everything.
- We are owed £100 from Quidco. Can't really do anything to make this come faster but the sooner we get this the better.
- We are selling one of our cars. This will save insurance and MOT/Tax which is due next month, but the car's only worth about £300. This will be an inconvenience for a while but in a few months we will hopefully have saved up enough to buy another car if we need it.
I now need to spend a few hours catching up as I've avoided this thread since January out of guilt for not debtbusting as hard as I could!DFBX2013: 021 :j seriousDFW £0 [STRIKE] £3,374[/STRIKE] 100% Paid off

Welcome back. You have still paid £779, which is £779 more than nothing<you can't argue with my logic can ya? lol
Life gets in the way sometimes, but at least you have a plan to get your debt busting moving again.

I have a laptop with an apple on the lid to look forward too
After I have bought that I am saving for a mini coupe. I don't need one, I just want one, and I want to pay cash rather than get finance for it :j
