I'm waiting for April's pay day before I make any big payments, just in case. We might be able to pay off two in one go!

I've found the key to stopping house hunting! I've replaced it with job hunting... I don't even want to leave my current job yet, so I don't know why I've prepared my CV and cover letter.

    Hello

Another few buyers have paid, so I have just paid another £65 off of a credit card.

    Total now #11 - £3821.76/£10,224 = 37.38% :j

The card I have been paying off has a mysterious problem with their website and I have to call them to see whats wrong  so I had to pay the money off of another card.

I will be back if any more buyers pay, otherwise will be back on Thursday when I pay my usual monthly bills :D

    SPC 12 #7 - £2682.90
    SPC 13 #7 - £4829.85
    SPC 17 #7 - £7313.63
  • Hi there, can my total be updated please? I am number 117, please update to:

    £750.04 / £12403.90, 6.05%

I wish we had paid 10% by now, but hey-ho, not a bad start considering we are still getting back on our feet after our wedding at the end of 2012 and the sudden passing of my mother-in-law. I am sad we won't be debt free by the end of this year, but we will have paid a large chunk of our debt off I am sure. We have started to shift considerable amounts of our wedding stuff pending collection, and also have lots of stuff put aside ready for a carboot when the weather gets better, so there will be "extra" money from those things to pay off debts soon.:T

Martins email last week had something on them, whichmade it more clear to me!

The short of it is, it is worth having an ISA. Because I don't have much of an emergency net, I have an instant access ISA, which just mean I get the money in my current account on the same day I ask for it.

Might pop into my bank at some point and see about an ISA then...
  • Well here we go with the new total. It's not actually as bad as I thought it was going to be, I had budgeted for £4200 but the new total is:

    #122 £0/£3854.11

With 2 days to payday and lots of little plans coming together, I want to crack it by 1st Dec. Reason for this is 0% credit card deal expired the second week of December so any balance would need to be transferred to a new credit card, and my ideal position is to go in to 2014 with no debt, and start paying down my mortgage...
