    Hi

    Looks like everyone's been doing well?

    I'm here with my update. It turns out that I miscalculated my total debt. The correct total was £16,497

    This month it stands at £14,900, which means I've paid off roughly 10%!!

    Woo hoo!!:money::money::j:money::beer:

    Woo hoo indeed. Thats a great amount paid off already :T :D

    Well done

    Hi,

    Got paid on the 20th so a bit late in declaring but I've now paid off £166.41 against my debt of £4604.82. I actually made a payment of £500 but I also spent some and then I always deduct the interest.

    In other news I was really hoping to make a massive dent in my cc debt next pay day when we get our payrise and bonus. But sadly they are both a lot less than I was expecting. Now I know I should be grateful to have a job and be getting any payrise or bonus these days but when you haven't been warned and are expecting normal figures it was a bit of a shock.

    Anyway hopefully I will get the card cut down to about half, which will be nice. But I'll update again on 20th March, so fingers crossed.

    After today I'm at work for 8 days on the trot, then a day off, then 6 days on the trot, then a day off, then 6 days, then a day off then another 8 days!! But will all be worth it as I'm saving for my MOT, car tax and insurance renewal and then anything left over is going on my credit card bill.

    Hi, just a quick one from me. Apologies i haven't been around much and haven't been able to catch up. The debt is moving around left, right and centre at the moment, so I'm not even sure my spreadsheet is accurate. Next was finally paid off a few days ago, just in time for my statement, so I didn't have to pay any interest - woohoo! But they've only gone and up'd my credit limit by £2.5k- cheeky wotsits! I figured I may as well keep it as I might be able to grab some bargains in the sale in a few months time. Also cap 1 has increased my limit by a grand. It's really scary having all this money being thrown at us!

    We looked at the OH's credit file and his CCJ has come off it - it's such a relief and probably the reason why he's managed to get some cracking 0% BT cards!

    I sent off a letter to Black Horse to claim for PPI mis-selling, thinking that because it was taken out in 2008 - just when all this PPI business was in the news - that we wouldn't get anything back. Well, it just proves how wrong I am, as this morning OH received a letter offering him £1.8k! It's a fantastic amount of money to receive in one go (for us anyway) and once we get it, it looks like it could pay off the car (we will have to get a settlement figure) early, giving us an extra £250 a month!

    Wow Fleurlur, that's a lot! Just think of the money!

    Today has been 2 months since my annual review, and I'm no expert, but it looks like that means no pay rise for me :(
