Have just tackled the boxes in the bedroom left over from us moving in, in DECEMBER!!
Actually managed to clear some floor space in there and we've got a pile of stuff to stick on eb4y at the weekend! Any money made is going towards spending money for Silverstone F1 though.DF by Xmas 2013 #135: £833/£1195 (69.7%)0 -
Someone at work said they cancelled there contract not sure virgin or Sky. They they renew in there partners name as a new customer. I thought this was a wicked idea. I will definitely be trying this in June

Ah thanks for the reminder, just paid my council tax. We moved in August so didn't get the luxury of the free months
Although it should now reduce in premium which will be nice as we've been playing catch up.

Hi
Looks like everyone's been doing well?
I'm here with my update. It turns out that I miscalculated my total debt. The correct total was £16,497
This month it stands at £14,900, which means I've paid off roughly 10%!!

I'm glad Council Tax is included in my rent! It makes life much easier to budget
I've now signed up to do overtime at work this weekend. I have no idea how much I'll get paid for it, but I just don't have enough time to do everything on my table this week. Here's hoping they actually pay me for it at least!
Hopefully I'll have enough energy left to take advantage of free listing weekend this weekend. I picked up a bag load of things while at my parents over the weekend, and might make back my train ticket money!0 -
Our council must be 1 of the few which defaults you to 12 equal payments for council tax. One 1 hand its cheaper per month and easier to budget but on the other i get no "free" months.:rudolf: DF by Xmas 2018: #83 £8,250/£15,000 55% :rudolf:
