This is an amazing figure in one month :T

Last weekend I made a payment of £102.05 to my credit card but a few days later the money wasn't ringfenced in my account and wasn't showing as paid on my credit card, so I paid it again.

Today, both payments of £102.05 have been deducted from my bank account. As only 1 was added to my total on here, my new figure is

    #11 - £2379.16/£10,224 = 23.27%

I would like to get over 25% paid off, from ebay sales, in the next couple of days :rotfl:

    32b3

Oooh so close to 25% !! Get selling!! :j:j

My savings plans have gone to pot this month. DH pay rise hasn't come through this month, the gas/elec dd has gone thru the roof, DH got new glasses, I have paid £165 balance on our holiday and I have bought 2 races tickets and 2 tickets to see the who. DH is a big fan so couldn't miss the opportunity even though the tickets were extortionate.

Oh and it's DH birthday too so a jumper a t-shirt and a book totalling £51 spent there.

I have paid £35 off the EDF balance but since my DD has gone thru the roof it looks like I am behind even more:( I have also paid £250 off the secured loan capital AKA the Beast.

My Utilities are going up as my PIL use my phone all day, put 10 things in the washer and then put 5 things in the dryer at a time for a full hour:eek: have the heating on all day and the fire. This is when they are at our house looking after DS 3 days a week. Bearing in mind I pay them £100 a month to do this too it is costing me a fortune.

My MIl is very huffy and it is not something I can discuss calmly with her so we have taken to hiding the washing and doing it all at the weekend ourselves at 30 degrees. I am going to try and dry some of it on the line today and find my clothes horse which hasn't been used for a while. Drastic measures are needed as I am paying £168 for a modern 2 bed house with full insulation and double glazing :eek:

Ouch! I am dreading my gas bill - our electric is PAYG thankfully. the gas has ALWAYS been a problem because this is a cold, non-insulated terrace house built over 100 yrs ago...... expecting the bill nov - feb to be about £450 :( i should probably put in a meter reading today actually

Yikes! We only pay £85 direct debit a month for electricity and gas combined, and most months apart from the coldest winter months we come in alot below that so our account is always in credit!

We live in a 3 bed house and don't skimp on heating at all - it's on 24 hours a day!

You should definitely look at switching providers ;)

I'd like to be DF and thinking about paying off a mortgage. I would like to have started my own business, not sure in what, nothing earth shattering just a supplement to income and interesting.

I would either like to have a 3rd child or move house. Realistically can't afford both!

    Hmm...5 years?

    1. Be completely financially stable and debt free :j
    2. I'm expecting identical twin boys in a few months and i guess they will be in school by then! So maybe start thinking about another baby in 4/5 years time?

    3. Definitely have moved into a bigger house with a bigger garden for the boys to play in :j This is a priority really!

    4. Have figured out what career path i want to take as i wont be working for a couple of years now (childcare for twins too expensive) so i've got plenty of time to retrain, update my qualifications etc for when i start working again when the boys start nursery/school.

    5. Go on a big adventure!

    6. Just live a simple life and be happy with no worries, etc.
