Just had exactly same text as jonemd, from parcelreclaim.com. The website looks very genuine and entering the code provided tells me I have £2000 of tobacco waiting for me at their depot! Clearly a scam. They have shielded their Whois data and it is registered with GoDaddy via a proxy in Scottsdale, Arizona.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR DETAILS. At some point they will ask for money to 'release' the parcel to you.

Got a text from parcelreclaim.com same gist as other posts. £2000 worth of tobacco waiting but would need to pay £80 to reclaim it! They 'say' they get your phone number from damaged documentation.... PAAA!! Dregs of the earth. They've made the website look very convincing, I just hope nobody falls for it. Let as many folks know about this scam AS YOU CAN!

just received a text from the above like all others mention "I have a parcel waiting" accordingly.... here is your tracking number to arrange delivery GB-344676874. Dodgey written all over it so gave it a search and looks like they could be operating under another site now. not sure if they ask for money as i haven't filled any details out apart from the track number. just thought i would keep the thread going and up to date!!!

Just had a text through from https://www.parceltracker-uk.com with a claim number of GB-XXXXXXXX and it is for a gift with no know valuation and for £40 I can have it delivered tomorrow morning! Now where have I put my credit card!!!!

I too have received a txt message from a mobile number to visit www.parceltracker-uk.com

Where would someone have gotten my number from? I have recently bought a few large items online and my suspicions lead me to think one of the following companies may have passed on my mobile number, they were certainly very active in sending txts about delivery from different mobile numbers.

So glad I did the research as it was definitely a possibility even though I couldn't think of anything I had sent for. It was asking for £40 but gave no idea of the contents. I did email them earlier but I haven't heard back yet. I will update if I get a reply.

Just had a text on my mobile phone which I did think was suspicious. Looks like they are now using the track-myparcel site and giving me a valid claim number and stating they would deliver asap. Like everyone else I have not entered any of my details.
