Rose I can't wait:)Me and Nannylala have got lists of what we need (want;)) and will check out the stock and signs the night before:oIt's like a flipping military operation:rotfl::rotfl:
I know it is exciting and I usually go a couple of days before to see what is left and where everyting I want is exactly on the shelves. However DD is going to Bristol tommorow so I will ask her to do a reccie for me. Dont know if you ever took part in the Boots thread but we used to post our stashes on there. Unfortunately that thread was closed due to much nastiness. Shall we post pics this year.0 -

Last year i went to the 75% sale with a broken elbow, broken wrist (neither in plaster as only just done and they don't plaster for at least 24 hours here) and a dislocated shoulder!!!! This year as i am not planning on falling off my bike i'll be at work hoping there is a little bit left at lunch time.
It was busier than the year before where i managed 2 stores at opening times but not much.
Hopefully people will not buy everything there is but i appreciate i will be buying the dregs.0 -
Wow this thread is really hotting up now, had to catch up on 3 pages to make sure I hadn't missed anything! :rotfl::rotfl:
I think last year was particularly busy instore as there was no online sale. I think if they run it online too, it will be more manageable instore...well, maybe - problem is that online, you never know if it's actually going to turn up. My order the year before last year had several items cancelled. If you go instore, you leave with it in your sticky paws
I really definitely don't need anything but the sale was just SO MUCH FUN last year - mainly good spirited excited shoppers/ and hard core ebayers - there was so much to go round, being part of the reason, and they kept bringing out cage loads of new stuff!
Sadly I have an all day meeting at work - GUTTED - won't even be able to shop online. I'm racking my brains as to how I can get to the sale around this....no solution as yet so I guess I'll just have to live it all through your reports!!!:p At least it will help my no buying toiletries pledge....:cool:Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -
