Hello again you. Yup was me scouting out long water lastsept for the toy sale. Hope you had a good Xmas and managed to get everything you wanted in the toy sales.

I haven't been up city since last weekend but castle mall was looking good they had lots of the big sets still prob abt quarter of the upper floor still. Hoping to get up Monday if weather ok to have a last look about just hope doesn't get hit hard coz I can't get to the sales til after school run 9.30 or so but always been stuff still left last couple yrs

I will post Monday if I go up let you know what's about

I did go into boots today to have a look loads and loads of FCUK sets yet on line they said they have sold out of them. Yet in the shops there must be 100's of them

:wave::wave::wave: thought it was!! good xmas thanks hope yours was too seems like a distant memory now!! I haven't been to castle mall since boxing day!! my local is Lowestoft but have been told there's not a great deal there so just debating which to head for!! trouble is I have the school run to do then half hour journey to Norwich so would be just b4 10 before I could get there whereas prob about 915 to Lowestoft. Like you say all depends on weather meant to hit here monday night I think:o

Went to Lowestoft today, and there's still a good selection there!

Hello all! I didnt even get a Boots xmas gift guide this year, a very big change from the good old bootsing days! :eek: But still hoping to pop into the off 75% sale and get some stocking fillers and a few gifts. :j I usually get there around 11am and lots left but I havent even been into my local since before christmas so we shall see.

Anyone know what the selection is like at Lakeside, Thurrock ? I've got a little baby this year, so no chance to do scouting missions like previous years ! Would be grateful if anyone has been there to let me know, as the stock in Romford which is usually good is rubbish this year, just a few shelves , so think I may have to take the trek to lakeside.

Last year I got there a little before the store opened (didn't camp outside all night, honest! ) I got bored and cold so went for a walk around the retail park. When I got back there were a fair few people waiting, trollies at the ready, elbows freshly sharpened and determined glints in their eyes! :eek: It was all quite civilised though and did manage to pick a few things up with no hassle. I also went back at lunchtime and there was still quite a lot left.

I checked opening times on their website as was hoping to find somewhere local that opened early. They all seem to be 9 am though.

I don't think it was last year but may have been in previous years. I think sometimes orders get cancelled or go out of stock even when an order has supposedly gone through successfully though.

Tbh the only reason why there wasn't a 75% off sale online last year was because alot of the stock went OOS before the sale. So there is a chance it'll be online, but theres only a few sets left compared to what was there last week. Bound to be some bargains though so worth keeping an eye on
