One of the things my motorbike riding OH gets such pleasure from is a new Buff. It's a thin material tube that you can pull up over the back of head and nose and stops draughts down the back of the neck. Otherwise it's just a warm but light material worn round the neck. If its a lady motorbiker its brilliant if you pull up over back of head and ears then your crash helmet doesn't rip your earrings out! Believe me as a lady motorbiker they are amazing. Aldi were selling some last week but you can get them in motorbike shops or walking outdoor type shops. Just don't get a cheaply nylon one as they sweat.

Thanks for this info Mint. I think DH mentioned something like this last night from the link that Ruth gave me. Will have a look in Aldi when I go down town this morning. Really appreciate all these idea. What I don't use now will give me ideas for the future. ;)

Right I must go now as we have a busy day ahead.

My cat does that when I have a baked potato with cheese - no idea why but she tries everything to get at it

She's also a fiend for gammon. Cats can be odd...lol!
Ruth - many thanks for the motorbike ideas. That is great. Hubby has started looking - so far it might be some muc off cleaner maybe microfibre cloth and a couple of other small bits. Will do them up with the xmas cellophane and ribbon. If DS sees the list he will probably borrow it to get some ideas what to buy for her too. :D Thanks again.

You're welcome. Save the list so you've got ideas for future birthdays/Christmases. :)

Another great suggestion. I had one somewhere. Haven't used it in ages, but now it's quite chilly, I'll have to find it.

Oh no! When you find where they're getting in, fill the gap with wire wool. They hate it & it's easy to push into gaps around pipes etc.

Can you get someone's cat to wander round your house-get a cat scent on things to put them off? And if you have any of those heat toys that you warm in the microwave, put them in a sealed box/cupboard! The bugg€r$ ate mine when we had unwelcome guests a few years ago.
