Doesn't look like I'm going to get a chance this week to catch up so I'm just going to jump in! Sorry if I've missed anything, I've been thinking of you all just blooming life stuff has got in my way haha.
If I wait till I catch up properly might be a huge task, so apologies for being a little behind.

Mrsinvisible I know I popped in to say wonderful news but I've been thinking about you today and what an amazing person you are. It truly has made my week :) xxx
BBTHREE and Princess woo hoo Emmer is exciting, I've just caught up on it this evening :) BBTHREE that was a shopping trip and a half :) well done you (and DD who seems to have you very well trained) xxx

In other tedious news, the saga of my front room continues! DH insists he is the only one of us able to gloss which is why it's taking an age to do! Bless him, it is now driving me mad!!! We've got DGD2 for the rest of the week (daytime) due to DD doing an extra day and DSiL shifts clashing so as much as I adore having her it will give DH a down paint brushes excuse :) It'll be worth it when it's done (I keep telling myself)
Babyboo happy holidays my lovely :) xxx
Freespirit argh for DS :( there is somebody out there with the perfect job, somebody who will appreciate him we've just got to get them together :) xxx
Linky I've been MIA but I think I've managed most of last weeks task. Two savoury dishes batch cooked and one sweet for the freezer, always have rich food in around Christmas as sometimes just crave something normal so stew, spaghetti Bol / shepherds pie and risotto done and festive scones with cranberries and white chocolate. Think Decembers planner was the other task it's still a work in progress! I'm trying or as DH would say very trying xxx

I have just started bidding on home alone 2, may have to get the grinch and elf (still haven't seen that) I've noticed that these Christmas DVDs are getting more bids than usual on eBay, so we're not the only ones getting ready!

Home Alone 2 is £3 on amazon, £3.20 on play.com so may be cheaper to buy new. Hope the shop sales pick up for you.

Saw some miniatures (whisky, rum, gin etc) on the shelves at Asda today, around £2.50 each if anyones looking for any for hampers/christmas cakes.

Had a little spree last night on sainsburys entertainment site, bought the nativity, scrooged, muppet Christmas carol and hocus pocus for £15 woo hoo. If that living room is ever finished I'm going to snuggle on the sofa and get square eyes with DGD2 :) xxx

Off to add the Christmas songs to the list :D

Nana, so sorry the lounge has turned into a bit of a saga :(

Freespirit, your poor Son :( Is there anyway he could start a small market/car boot business to tide him over? House clearances, freecycle and freegle are great for picking up free items and then a car boot stall on a saturday and sunday could help him pick up a few hundred pound? I know it would be less than minimum wage, but it would be more than ESA and it may help him bring some of his confidence back - he would be below the tax threshold, so would just need to register with HM revenue as a sole trader, and would have 3 months to register as such. Sorry if this seems like a daft suggestion, I was just having a think and thought it would help both his confidence, and also make a wee bit of money xxx

  • Was trying to come up with idea for token gifts and found 3"x3" fridge magnet photo frames on Ebay. £3.75 for 10 I think I have paid, so they may be worth considering as gifts from littlies to relatives.

Have a good day everyone :)
