Following another thread on here I popped out and am about to snuggle up on the sofa with my Boots Xmas catalogue. :j


I've even taken the kids out to KFC for tea. Very lazy but I've spent today tidying up the house and don't want another load of pots to do.

Snigglebunny - so sorry you have had a rough times as you have really loved your job. Chatting with your boss will make you feel better and she can keep an eye on the situation. She sounds like a right w*tch!
wuvvies - you did really well staying strong until after your daughter left. she will be finding it too but you can bet your bottom dollar she will not show you that. Big hugs x

Nanamia - Hope you are ok and not got wallpapered to a wall! Another weigh in today and I lost 2.5lb! thats 9.5lb in 5weeks! and so chuffed! want 2 stone off for christmas and I am determined!

Won an ikea trofast unit for storage for my daughters toys. Going to pick it up tomorrow and am so excited! Cant wait to get organised. My best friend is helping me clear the loft out next week. I have got a wedding dress to sell a la kate middleton style!
also 3 baby blue BHS bridesmaid dresses. we were going to renew our wedding vows 2 years ago on our 10th wedding anniversary but had to cancel due to family ill health. We said we will do it at 15 yrs now.
We need a new roof and then we can finish the loft conversion for my son so need to get ALOT of stuff sold for the roof fund.
Had a bad appt with consultant last week and couldnt bring myself to mention it. I have to have the epidural steroid injection to see if it will stop the pain in my back and leg. Its getting worse again and im trying my hardest to keep positive but the pain is more severe. I AM NOT LETTING IT DICTATE CHRISTMAS!!! we have had a crap year and I am going to make sure we have fantastic christmas!

hi all, still not read back... still feeling like ive been punched in the chest blah ... picked up the boots catalogue while in dr's ( our drs is upstairs from boots) so shall snuggle up with that tonight.. then popped in wilkos for hay.. noticed some more xmas stock out (picked up mayards elf jellies, a jar of snow jazzies and a big jar of flying saucers for dh) loving how they are stocking thorntons products this year too.. those are on next weeks buying i think lol

dd4 put the grinch on to watch this afternoon lol

I am indeed a silhouette owner - It's used almost daily for orders and such. For any hobbyist or small business user it is fantastic, I honestly cannot recommend it enough! Now that I have my shop I am eyeing up the bigger beasts like a black cat cougar or silver bullet as it metal engraves too!

The workshop is so battered and full of clutter it is driving me mad :rotfl: My OCD is out in full force - dragged poorly DH in to help me clean and move stuff. Tomorrow we get a lesson in fire laying

Didn't want to mention it, but we've heard from the solicitor that we don't have a case. Also heard from the caridioligist that due to the errors of the urology team, further damage has been caused to DH heart

Bought 3 tins of spray paint in The Range,but won't be able to do it until Saturday now. It will be too late after work tomorrow and Friday.
I also got a wooden row of houses for the forest.
Dunelm Mill had the most beautiful stag for £20. I didn't get it as we popped in on our way to the main shops and I didn't want to spend all my money before we got there. But I will go back and get it. It is brown, but you know me, it will be white.

B and M had a Christmas duvet set in if anyone interested.



Primark didn't have a lot in, I got ds a money box that counts the coins. He mentioned that his friend has one and it amazing :rotfl:
Got dd some Tangtastics and Sour Cherries for her movie hamper. Also got Robbie some joggers in Peacocks and 4 DVDs in Poundland.

Going to make a coffee and catch up now. xx

04624181 - hehe...hello neighbour. I am in saddleworth. I love bury. I go once a month and fill up my freezer from the meat market. ds is playing on the cd with Wingates, so might come back to Bury, to while away the hours I know quite a few people up there but they are all involved in the brass banding world.

ps. thanks for your kind words about ds. he currently plays for Marsden Silver, a Championship Band in West Yorkshire. he is 14. and yes...I will be his taxi for years to come, it seems.

Well I am sat feeling a tad sorry for myself. My jaw kills after yesterday and slightly swollen. Must say they did a good job though. They let me see my tooth after, really weird seeing it in four parts and very weird hearing it crack when they break it up lol.

Right, the 40th birthday saga continues. I thought Id found something perfect in Cotswolds, reviews all amazing, had everything I wanted. Price was eek but heyho. Until I realised that if you wanted use of hot tub etc they wanted an extra 100 quid for it. Jog on. I couldn't very well say to DH Happy Birthday but you can use the hot tub LOL!

From what I understand they are fairly newly built but with 100% 5 star reviews on tripadvisor and for what you get in the cabins (lets face it we wont be venturing far in February) I think they will work well for us. I asked for luxury and boy these are pretty luxurious.

So think will book this week, seems to be plenty of availability at the moment.

Feeling a little better now although still all dizzy when I stand up. Oh well. Good night sleep in order, work tomorrow.

hi not sure if youve found somewhere or what exactly your looking for or how far etc etc as im just catching up but just seen the hot tub bit lol. weve just been to york in a cabin with a hot tub, we thought it was reasonably priced, it was called goosewood park if your interested they have a website (think it takes u to one called flowers of may) and they do have parks in a few other places although im not sure where hth
