    Mincemeat Muffins
    6oz sugar- any kind
    12 oz sr flour
    1 tbsp baking powder.
    9 tbsp sunflower/ veg oil
    12 f oz water
    5 oz mincemeat

Place sugar, flour and baking powder in bowl.
Add oil and water and mincemeat.
Gently mix- Don’t worry if there is a bit flour visible!

Place in muffin tins- not too full as they rise really well.

    Optional topping:
1 tbsp Demerara( or other coarse brown)
    ½ tsp cinnamon

Mix together and sprinkle on top.

    Cook 190 C for 15-20 mins.

Quidsy I got canes from Wilkinsons and also saw them in B+Ms yesterday:)

I hear you all talking about changing your summer wardrobe to winter ones. Mine is so easy…….Just add a cardigan!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Christmas cake is made so will be feeding it for the next few weeks.:D
Got marzipan and icing in ready to decorate.:j
Added more ingredients to my shopping list as I’m going to make the apricot and chestnut stuffing balls out of the Christmas mag supplement.:)

I bought two candle holders surrounded by beads and bits from B+M for the table.
Also bought some self adhesive window stickers at Poundstretchers.

I am decorating the bathroom this year so will be putting these on the shower cubicle.:rotfl::rotfl: Sure my OH will think I've lost the plot this year:D

    Good "Elfing" everyone.

  • For those of you wanting trees bits to decorate, if you are near me in the south west I co manage a woodland for forest school, I also have a lovely twisted hazel in my garden that needs some trimming, I may be able to help out .

So jealous! wish i lived nearer! although we do live near a large field and woods so I may have to have a little walk xx

Thats a great saving! somehow the post got quoted as OMO saying it haha x Sometimes credit scoring works in a funny old way. I think the more credit people have got/using the more people will lend! It frightens lenders when you have no debt! Also there are main 2 credit search companies so sometimes that makes a difference too.
You are doing the best thing and working everything out.
Good luck with everything and Im sooooo excited for you x:T

Ooops not, quite sure why it got quoted as OMO, was supposed to be from you 04624181 - I'd obviously deleted the wrong bit :rotfl: I checked my report on Equifax and Experian (topcashback too!) and both told me I was perfect ;) There was an option to ask for a cash transfer on opening the account, I declined as thought it would put them off lending - obviously the wrong thing to do :rotfl:

Well my lists are complete, I have also printed off a Christmas themed month calendar for December so I can start jotting things down and I have done my 5 presents (15 wrapped and tagged in total now) and feel much more in control of Christmas :T

My goals for next week are to finalize the gift list (still waiting for some people to come back to me) and hopefully buy most of the outstanding gifts too!

Can anyone recommend a good Christmas app I've been searching the App Store but can't seem to find any that I like

For an iPhone I would suggest Better Christmas ( free) or mGifts (69p) . mGifts allows you to allocate birthday presents as well.

Next weeks tasks are to decide what we are going to do weekend of the 14th Dec, don't want to do london this year want something different for me, oh, 2xds 11 and 8 and maybe dsd 23 and her oh. Live in devon ideas welcome

Well done all and thanks for slushy cup idea, mine love slushies.

They are not in Devon, but closer than London.

  • Hi thanks to whoever mentioned the chocolate in the co op. I got some tubes of smarties £1 for sticking in with the presents. They had a selection of old style lollies for £1 which I got for my stepson. I also got a lot of boxes of roses and quality street which were £2.16 in my Tesco. These are ideal as little thank you presents. I also got some Freddo's with popping candy. Now I love Freddo's and could eat loads of these but I didn't like the popping candy ones!!!!!!!!!!
