Evening all
its amazing how many of you have been through similar with your children. still heard nothing from her. although this is and will be the number 1 thing on my mind i now have to focus.i got a letter today telling me to go in for pre op so will be having surgery very soon. so i made some decisions. i have bought all the christmas eve bag stuff for my little boy and have bought an extra selection pack if she arrives back. i now have the stocking stuff to do. he is at a party next weekend for three hours and i will be doing the whole of the stocking stuff that day and then i will be on operation wrap. im not doing my daughter a stocking as i can always get a few bits together if i need to. im going to concentrate on my boy. i need to be ready so that im not stressed at not being able to do it. i will love and cherish every single wrap but if my husband has to do it it will be a chore. im going to get focussed and get on. it will also give me more to think about. so...
i have a new notebook and the christmas eve bag consists of new pjs new dressing gown selection pack some sweeties and a dvd.
i also bought the christmas magazine today. although not opened as tonight i have a headache and want to savour and enjoy every minute.
thanks again all for your support. i feel i can say it all without being judged. there is something easy about not seeing all your faces!! i just say it. i will keep you all posted.
WUVVIES you are doing the right thing, you need to concentrate on yourself and your operation and getting yourself better, otherwise you will make yourself ill with everything on your plate, you should never be judged by anyone anyway but on here we dont judge anyone, we just hope we can give our lovelies support when they need it, so please there is always someone around on here to get advice if you need it#103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0 -

That is lovely.
I could be MSE, go to the woods and cut a bit of a tree.
Is that illegal ?0 -
Got the chocolate oranges I needed today in Mr T (half price atm) and a pack of matchmakers for the cupboard. Wanted to get a couple of the big boxes of maltesers at £2 each but the best before dates weren't even past Christmas so left them for now. I'm sure I'll be able to find another offer soon. Has saved my waistline too though as I originally picked one up for me to munch on
Have a few bits in my basket on tesco clothing too as there's 20% off this weekend only so need to buy those tomorrow.
Hugs to those that need them.0 -

No idea if it's illegal but if no-one catches you who's going to be the wiser?0 -
I will apologise before I start tis is going to be another essay! Was hoping to post throughout the day but blooming life kept interrupting ! I needed to get online for my Christmas fix
I don't half miss you lovelies when I don't get my fix xxx
Chrissy how was Ikea? Has it any festive things in yet? I've not been this year at all, terrible that, I few years ago they had really lovely festive lighting and we were really proper skint, bought some as presents and couldn't afford any for us -never seen them sincetypical me xxx
Mrs M oh I love your crafts, you really are so talented. Had a little smile thinking of DD and her tree, if she's anythink like me she'll be lucky to be able to unpack her tree till at least Easter (or is that just me?) xx
Mrsinvisible you are on a blinking roll again, slow down I'm worn out reading about it! Did you manage all that baking? And to steer clear of buying plants? Amidst all this you are organising Christmas and packing for London xxx
Mrs Hayes was worried when I was reading through but once again the lovelies advice has conquered all. Hold your head heigh my lovelyThe wisest people I know love Christmas too. So glad you've got your hands on your special cheque, woo hoo you are on the way to being debt free, congratulations xxx
Money maker well done you on your shoppingxxx
Fluffysox I've googled winter wonderland at Chester races and made notes to check with DD, thank you xxx
Msgigglewick go you, you must need a whole new wardrobe. When I got the size 12 dress I wanted to wear it inside out so I could show off the label haha. I'm delighted too for your DD, she's done so well to move up a level already ( a very proud Mummy I hope) Guess what, I totally resisted buying Kirsty's book, very mse thought I've enough on my list of makes for this year etc etc trying to be sensible, then thought no why be sensible I can have a treat- oh no it's gone back upxxx
Picnmix I got the coal toohad a little chuckle to myself ha it's the simple things isn't it
Think I'm going to repackage mine so a few people get a few pieces xxx
Baby boo we need to get you a voice activated programme so you can post even when your hands/ fingers aren't up to it. We love to hear what everybody's up to, pop in and read if you can't post we will know you are with usI love the idea of a tasteful white tree but not sure if I'd be happy with it instead of a real tree - it's a serious dilemma for me this year! I still do stocking for my two and they are 30&26 also do them for their partners too they'll never be too big for them xxx
Twinkle now you've got me thinking on the tree debate! I one year had an artificial tree (1982) but hated it, cried until my sister turned up with a real one for me (bless her) Since then I've always had real trees, last few years I've had small live trees that have been out in the garden all year and just brought in for Christmas. Last year had a cut tree, chosen by DD and it was rubbishThis year I'm thinking artificial at the moment but it is a serious dilemma. I'd like to think I could have one similar to Baby boo but would it feel like Christmas ? Oh I'm in a quandary ! xxx
Crowdpleaser ooooooh I would book the lighthouseI'd love it too, any of the choices would be just perfect. I envy you browsing your library's Christmas craft books, obviously as research how else can you recommend them. Bless you missing your Mum. I'm blooming certain she'll be missing you too, sending virtual hugs, hope your tummy ache has eased xxx
Snugglebunny really hoping your back is ok, ouch nothing like back pain xxx
Sequeena I was shocked to read your posts about the negativity you experience. Here's hoping by the time Thomas is at school he'll be surrounded by Christmas lovers, they really are the best. Wow well done you winning the smart phone, congratulations xxx
Drops of Jupiter I know go missing for half a day at the moment and you've three pages to catch up on! Great isn't it. I'm saving up for a trip to country baskets, I love it there. Did they have any white twig trees did you notice? Need to assess for the ongoing tree saga! xxx
NCIS_fan your dads coffee hamper sounds brill. Was thinking you could maybe do a scrap book for your Mum and Dads anniversary, needn't be expensive but would be very personal and priceless xxx
Alja wow you are on a roll you got loads xxxThe secret of Christmas
It's not the things you do at Christmastime
But the Christmas things you do

I was very impressed with my haul the other day! Today I'm taking what seems to now be my weekly Sunday trip to Mr T and the other shops nearby.
I've started to make a list of what to look out for whilst there, but think I'll go grab some brekkie and take a look at what I've got already as there's a chance I could end up with too many similar bargains soon!..I guess I could always put some away for birthdays
Thinking of you all, I hope you all have a lovely day!0 -
An angry birds flannel in HB for DD4
Did you see the AT-AT Angry Birds game for £9.99 instead of £39.99 (they had one in Stafford store - hope they go nationwide)? I'd been trying FOREVER to win one on Ebay because they're stupidly expensive in any other store, so was happy-happy.
My nipper is just bonkers for Angry Birds, so I was made up when I noticed they'd got other sets in; we'd brought all the others earlier in the year.
I said "You're not going to go off Angry Birds by Christmas? 'Cos you'll have not much else, if you decide you no longer like Angry Birds or Star Wars toys!" Then, instead of reassuring his Mammy that he still liked the angry birds, he burst into tears because he wanted it to be Christmas LIKE NOW! Sheesh!0
