Hi all.
Have enjoyed spending the last hr catching up with what everyone has been upto.
I've made a start today on buying a few things for my retro sweetie jars/boxes. Trying to avoid buying any Christmas chocolates though as I'm afraid they wouldn't last.
Going to make a start on my lists later. Bought a new notebook and pen especially. Need to sort out my stash as have a few birthdays coming up and I'm sure I'll have something hiding in there that is suitable.0 -
Chuffed cause I have managed to buy a stack of clothes for the kids in Animal as they had 70% off this weekend on sale so spent less than I would if I had bought them in Tesco so they can go in the Xmas stash. Also managed to get bits in the Claires 5for£5 so very productive.
Now planning my christmas trip to Chester and to take the kids to Chester Zoo for Santa and the lanterns. Never been so very excited.
Oohh cymrumam what are the lanterns at Chester zoo when what happens very curious x0 -

Well trip to Hobbycraft was a lot more stressful than planned. The actual shopping trip was ok but on the way home brakes failed on the car! We were coming up to a cross roads with traffic lights. Lights turned red and I wondered why DH wasn't slowing down until I looked at him and saw him pumping the brakes! As we sailed through the red light at around 50mph he just shouted "we've got no brakes!" We narrowly avoided a car coming from the right and managed to pull over into a layby a bit further up the road! FIL came to collect me and the kiddies while DH waited for breakdown truck. Can't believe how lucky we were that there wasn't a car stopped in front of us or that the car coming from the right didn't hit us!!!
On a positive note quite proud of my lego feeling. Got a gingerbread man and an elf today!Savings Account - £0.00
Weight Loss - 33lbs lost 9lbs to go0 -
Bloody hell! Thank goodness that story ended well.
VERY impressed with your Lego feeling though. Those are the two I'm trying to get!:rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf:0 -
