I always made my grandparents stockings.

My nan would get a new bingo pen, playing cards ( she loved kaluki )
Nivea face cream, some tights, sweets, hairspray.
My grandfather got pashana hair lotion, talc, liquorice allsorts, socks. An address book. ( he used these to write crossword answers in that he didn't know)

They must have got other stuff in them, but it was a long time ago and I can't remember what they were. :(

They were only filled with bits they could have got themselves but I know they both loved them.

JJ hope you get home soon.x

Susan how awful for you, glad you are on the mend now tho, it's good to have you back xxx
Poppygirl it looks like you were a day to early in the Range:( An evening trip is definitely in order, me too I think :) It'll be us laughing in December when people are running around like headless chickens and we can sit back and enjoy the fun. Some people just don't get it do they- fools!
Msgigglewick oh my word 4st 6lb that is amazing, you must be slimmer of the year. What a fantastic achievement :) well done xxx
I love Kirsty too, lets hope somebody discounts the book very very sooooon
Hohoho what a brill name. And of course welcome :)
Mandco thank you for the tip off re the annuals, might pick one up for son in laws stocking at that price :)
Noodles had a little chuckle to myself about your skirting boards, ours have been ripped off for the re plastering, tempted not to put any back haha. I think they do feature on the fly lady lists too. How did you get on at the PTA ? Did you volunteer???
Quidsy what a good idea, love your countdown breakdown. Thank you I may have to share :) xxx
Murie see you are right at home already :) x
Freespirit you must, as always be tremendously proud of both children :) They really are a credit to you. I thought earlier today it must be the big M, if DS was embarrassed :( bless him, the interviewer obviously felt threatened and was rude as a consequence ! Lets hope tomorrow brings a happier outcome and starting Thursday vibes :) xxx DD still not using her degree five years on but she happy and a great girl xxx
Pinknfluffy wow you are doing well. How are the meds going? Are you beginning to feel any more like the old you? Has DH noticed any difference ( my DH is always the first to notice when the BD is yapping at my heels- bless him- he's well and truly put his foot down at the mo and there are to be no more cakes made to order for the foreseeable future he says! ) xxx
Jemtom I love the wrapping too, also like you I like to leave it until December :) but I'm thinking first week this year ( careful tho cos Linky is listening and she'll hold me too it ) x
Snugglebunny thank you for the link to the Yankee candle bargain. Would I be able to use the 'tart' like a tea light? Or do I have to buy something else? X
Bunbun I know it's a long way, but if you ever get the chance it really is worth the trip.
Ameyturtle bless you doing all that when you felt poorly :( Did you manage to get a picture? Cake pops as presents sounds a brill idea, they've even got presentation boxes in HB now x
Ellie think I will have to bob back into primark, the throws were gorgeous last year weren't they :) x
Junior_J sending very gentle hugs for you sweetheart :) At least if its an X-ray lead lumbar puncture you stand less chance of being a pin cushion I hope. Squeena popped in to tell us you'd been taken back in my lovely. Sending our very best wishes to you and blooming well get out very soon :) xxx

Every night I post and it's blooming massive! Sorry I do go on, you should hear me:) Well in the Nanamia household Mrsinvisible no MANIA haha I really don't know why I'd got in to such a state! The plasterer who is a brother of one of my lovely ex neighbours is brill, doing a great job and very thoughtful. He's managing to keep mess down to a minimum- well he has today! He's got on really well and reckons it'll be finished tomorrow wooo hoooo. I have been in my element, upstairs lay on the bed with my tv and v+ box working my way through the tv recordings :) Large flask of coffee and bottle of juice. Happy days.
Spoke to DS who'd been flown out as part of his job again to another region of Oz. Flight was longer than Manchester to Spain weird isn't it! And still with in western Oz weird isn't it? xxx

0462 stayed the same at weigh in this morning - which I'm happy with as I feel really quite bloated(hormonal) and ate out twice last week. So happy with that too x

Linky what do you think about pink and lime in my room, white walls (3 walls) cos I usually wallpaper the chimney breast as a feature. Would make a change from black white with a hint of red? Too much?

AMEY the cake pops sound fab, i said the same thing to kids im cold already and cant afford to put heating on, i think its going to be cold winter

I've been cashing in on the heating at work ;) We live in a fourth floor flat so when I get in at about 2pm its freezing, then the lower neighbours are obviously putting their heating on because come 7pm I'm boiling hot and can barely stand it! Roll on the winter!

When I saw your sofas I was going to suggest cream walls with a lime green feature wall - I love dark brown and lime, then of course you mentioned you hate green and it went out the window ;)
