    Hi everyone

Sorry I been missing in action hope you are well, I went on hols then fell down the stairs. But I'm back and ready for action

Thank you linky for the list excellent and alot of work and time consuming for you. It's great for me to follow it.

All those that need hugs and have bugs, I'm thinking if you

Feisty that's magic your shop , I'd love one like that and I wish you good health, wealth and hope you prosper

I did sort out a list of what I have bought and who it's for and I had some nice surprises, I'm further along than I thought. DS is my problem. He buys everything he wants himself and I really can't work out what he'd like. He's 21 , I got all the extras just need a main.

Freespirit Not another migraine :( Im sending twinkling fairy lights down to you and a pair of Mrsinvisible hobnailed boots for that BD, cos I think I can hear him yapping :( Once Monday and DSs interview is over, he gets the job and they ask him to start Thursday, you can breathe and then when Wednesday is over you can blooming well got on the phone to the drs!!!! I will nag you into submission :) xxx I need you back xxx I did chuckle at your new Costa experience :) and do you know ? In Australia they have drive thru off licences!!!! Imagine that xxx[/QUOTE]
NANAMIA hehe you do make me giggle, i think we will end up like america with drive thrus, i never knew oz had them :) i too love your sofa cant wait to see pics of new front room

OMO thankyou so much for going to so much trouble doing the list, i bought a new pad today with dividers especially for it :) it is very much appreciated

Free spirit, I'm right behind nana and mrsinvisible, I shall chase that bd down and scare it off with my gremlin chihuahuas!

Well DH needed to get out of the house yesterday and although he has now paid for it dearly (could barely walk when we were out and has been in agony ever since) his spirits are improved! I took him to see the new shop! Sadly the current owners are on holiday, but we managed to peek through the windows and he seems really excited about the venture. In fact, he said that he was very impressed - outstanding praise indeed for someone usually so unemotional. He has decided he will do all the furniture and has requested a workshop! Spoke to the lovely owner of the craft centre and he has let us have the one adjoining to the shop for an extra £200 a month! Scared about the high rent of them both, but confident it is the right decision :)
FEISTY hehe another giggle i will get on it, aah your little chihuahuas :rotfl:

The bench for the memory of my better than best friend was completed this week, we were trying to think of the wording for the plaque for it, when I said 'if he were here now and we asked him he'd say 'oh, whatever' so that's what we are putting.
MRSINVISIBLE i have got medication but @ the mo its just not working :( thankyou for the boots much needed, we have two benches in our garden, we have a plaque on each for our nans its so nice sitting in the garden thinking of them
CAITLYN glad your festival went well, i hate hate hate rude people :( your DN cakes are fab, my DD1 made the rainbow cakes but her rainbow strips were really dull colours not bright like yours

I drove today! woohoo! Drove myself to our nearest Tesco area, which has a few other stores nearby. From Tesco I picked up another clearance bag of present bows, only 21p! I got a hoodie and a nice cardi in the sale for myself and then managed to find that 20p mincemeat! Me and my mum are planning to make mince pies with it I think :)/QUOTE]
ALJA that is great news you are driving a bit more, i am so pleased for you

DD has been home just over a week now and is so much happier although she has had 2 big seizures .
We had a meeting with the 16+ SEN manager on Friday, there are in theory 3 local college options. All three do animal care and one of the them has a teacher who also teaches creative writing on the OU. DD desperately wants to become an author .
We initially rejected this college months ago because no one mentioned the writing course and we were told she would need 4 gcse passes to even be considered for the animal course, no one thought to mention there's a foundation and choices pathway she could have taken !
We are hopefully going to have a look around and a chat over the next week or so and they let the SEN manager know which is our preferred option .
CHRISSY so sorry about DDs seizures but glad she is much happier, doesnt it make you mad that you and DD could have avoided all this upset

Well Linky my lovely what have I got you into :) You wonderful person you xxx
As you know work starts on our living room tomorrow so I've sent today clearing the room in readiness. That's not an excuse haha I'm preparing you for my failure! I can't get to my present stash as we've stacked the tables in front of it but, but the work is set to take 2.5 days so I may still pull it together in time :) I love, no adore your wonderful countdown and I will love it even more when I can tick things off as done done done. Thank you so much for all the trouble you've been through finding the links for my decorating too. However I'd did omit to mention I HATE green (weird I know cos my carpet at present is green-it's a long n boring tale!) But you've definitely given me something to think about :) You are such a superstar xxx

Feisty I'm glad you and Mr Feisty got to go for a little outing. Even if he's suffering after at least he's had a change of scene. By the sounds of it it's done him the word of good, a togetherness project sounds excellent. Had to chuckle at the thought of your chinchillas dashing to Berkshire :) And clever you multitasking using your wrapped presents on FB too xxx
0426 well done on your loss this week woo hoo, it's brill carry on like that and you will be loosing half a stone a month :) Thanks for the Doc McStuffin tip, DGD1 loves her. Your poor LOs :( It's always like that at the beginning of term, they are in contact with all those germ breeders (other children) in close proximity again, thankfully tho they'll hopefully build up an immunity to the little blyters xxx
Mrsinvisible what a fitting tribute to your more than, better than best friend :) I love the thought of that too. "Oh whatever" xxx
Clayton Bents is so the place to see Santa. The real one lives there. (One of us should check it out first tho) x
Debndot what Christmassy things have you planned this week? I just love the idea but I'm way way to disorganised- unless I've got Linky keeping me in check :) xxx
Caitlyn we've missed you :( At one point I thought you'd been kidnapped by the festival goers ! Doesn't seem like I was far wrong what a shockingly, rude ungrateful bunch they were. Your bakes are fab you are so clever xxx
Chrissy so glad DD has settled back home :) Is that more seizures than you'd normally expect ? I mean due to the upset etc. I totally agree with everything the lovelies have said especially Peppapig it really does seem that everything happens for a reason, and the options now open to her sound so encouraging don't they ? Just a pity you weren't made aware of them to begin with. But still you've a lot to be thinking of again in the coming weeks. Anything promising happening on the sale of your house? Think of everything you've done blooming 2013 has been a busy busy year for you all, lets hope you've got good things to come now xxx
Alja awww well done you :) Im so proud of you for driving, I'm hoping you feel pretty proud of yourself too :)
Stephyt you are doing so well too, I didn't make my Christmas cards last year and don't think I will be doing them this year either- lost my mojo for it really. Sad really cos found it very relaxing x
Bunbun you poor thing. I hope you didn't have to get up for too long! Hope DH is looking after you and that you are feeling better very soon xxx
Jemtom your baking hamper sounds lovely, I did one last year, in a large mixing bowl but for a child so not much help really. Do look at the lakeland website, still a few bits in the sale section plus Wilkos have a few baking things on offer. X
Niknocks welcome. You are certainly in the right place, hope things start going smoothly for you x
Princess no bathroom shopping is nowhere near as exciting, unless you are thinking of christmasing up your bathroom :) xxx
Kelly Hello and welcome, looking forward to getting to know you and hearing all your Christmas preperations.
Lazysheep you are so right. You can never have too many lists, or too many people checking to see if you've missed anything. Not that our Linky would ever do anything like that - I'm creeping xxx
Pinklady welcome back :) wow you did well on the boot sale. If there's not much Christmas in your shops yet you could always follows Linkys suggestions and stock up on a necessity instead, saves have to buy them in December and hopefully Janruary x
Msgigglewick hahaha I had to chuckle, I bought turkey breast for today's dinner too, with the trimmings. Weirdly you know how my brain works- some may say doesn't (DH for one!) I couldn't resist Bakewell tarts for DHs afters, those cherries on the top looked just like Rudolphs nose haha. I swear if I'm missing a few days he's had me sectioned! xxx
Gettingtherequickly oh my word, I read your post and had to stop for breath. Busy busy busy :) Have a wonderful time xxx
Kevie aha just PVA how clever :) What a shame about secret Santa, I suppose we forget here that we are on a forum, we are just friends meeting up for a chatter :) I realise rules are important and for safely reasons obviously x
Eljaycock Oooh thank you, I love it when the Christmas mags hit the shelves x
Flowfy hiya, welcome to our lovely haven. I couldn't find the coal in tesco, I will keep looking tho.
Mojoworking aww my lovely you are definitely in the right place then. There is always one of us around for a chatter, scream, shout, giggle, rant, laugh or cry with. Believe you me we've been through a whole range of emotions but we stick together and have helped one another more than you could think. Sending big hugs and looking forward to getting to know you better X
