Nanamia - Thank you, my little Niece is the cutest little button ever, with a full head of red hair! I'm going to see her on Wednesday again as she's been discharged from hospital now. Your cake and tea party looked lovely, I hope it went well.
I'm ready for my holidays in the sense that I have all my stuff now, I'm just not entirely sure how to fit it all into my suitcase :rotfl:heavy sacrifices are going to have to be made.
OMO - I'm sitting in anticipation of the 100 day countdown now. That at least gives me something to tempt me back to rainy UK after my week away. I'm not sure I'd be coming back otherwise0 -
Hi everyone
Back from our week away & back to workweek away was alright, it's hard work with a six year old, 9 month old and a dh that bleats its his holiday! I'm not going on holiday again until the kids are older. Did watch home alone whilst Mali was napping on film 4 last sunday and felt sooo christmassy!
However Gt Yarmouth has a good poundland and I managed to get Mali a Winnie the pooh flannel for her stocking yay!
Nanamia your afternoon tea cakes looked gorgeous!
Feisty Im sorry to hear you're still having problems with the hosp
Chrissy sending you warm wishes to get through today/tomorrow onwards

Sorry for the big post ! But a bit of light christmas reading is essential for us christmas lovers haha xx:T0 -
welcome Sequeena and Bunty! and you are not alone - both mine go back tomorrow and Im already feeling miserable! its partly the fact that I work from home in the week and that makes the holidays so relaxing here too! not having to chivvy people up constantly telling them what time it is etc! and the traffic is horrible when kids go back, rushing round picking them up and stuff ... argh! To me there is only ONE good thing about September and that is the Earth, Wind and Fire song! signals the end of summer for me and I absolutely hate the cold grey autumn and winter, only thing about it I love is Christmas!
Nanamia the cake is fantastic! and the afternoon tea looks amazing!
work was exhausting yesterday and started feeling a bit stressed, two people I was on with do not get along and were at each other allll day! (though sympathise and rather agree with the one as she is great at her job and very hard working the other seems lazy) the moment one was away from the department the other complained to me about her and v v, was also very busy so had had enough by closing time! :-) trying to stay diplomatic and get along with everyone as Im still new
have spent morning sewing all the various achievement/sports badges etc on DS's new blazer, and sewing name labels into all the new uniform, does anyone else HATE that job??my DD is going into 6th Form so doesnt need uniform but had to buy her mix and match suit jackets, dresses, trousers etc ... at least no labelling needed!

Ooooh meant to say re Yankee Candles - I found one I had never seen before on ebay called Christmas Magic, has anyone else smelled that one?? I love several of their Christmas ones, also saw one called Christmas Pudding - both are marked rare and discontinued so may be quite old?0
