  • oh no Freespirit!! poor you :( you have all my sympathy, my ideal house would be one that has no water in it whatsoever!! I really feel for you, I was sat on the sofa hearing this bloke messing with the radiator upstairs, the cats getting upset that somebody they didnt know was in the house, him turning off water and opening doors and cupboards and I was staring at the dining room ceiling getting so stressy!! I think it stems from workmen who think women know nothing so they start telling you more things that need doing and the costs mounting up, nowadays I try and only get people in on the day hubby works from home and I go out and come back when its done! the wierd thing I find with water upstairs is that if there is a leak it doesnt always come through at the place the leak is! it must work through floorboards and come out elsewhere and that freaks me out even more worrying there is something else!! am a born bloody worrier I think! I hope you get it sorted with not too much stress
    :( xx

I am the same i never know whether to go and sit down, hang around, i find the whole thing embarassing, and yes they do treat women different! But i am going to have to man up and phone first thing after New Years (thats if my kitchen floor doesnt cave in first) :rotfl:

  • Hmm resolutions. Well I started writing but I actually scared myself with some thoughts. So I will give it some thought and think of some goals.

  • im just umming and ahhing whether to put in an order at boots?!
if i do it cwould cross birthday and christmas off the list for my little brother, oldest nephew and niece and christmas for youngest niece and my dads girlfriend.

however the hubby is hoping to move at some point in the next couple of months so im not sure whether to get them and have more to lug about, or to hold on and get something nearer the time.

the full price is £240 but i can get them now for £85 what to do? what to do? what to do?
