Not sure if its already been mentioned but to the lady doing her Mum a little present every day in december island_mum maybe???? Dotcomgiftshop are doing a set of 24 advent calendar gift bags in their sale which might be of some use to you.
I've bought a few bits of there myself for little stocking fillers - not sure who there all for yet though but time will tell xxxx0 -
I have nothing to add to be honest ladies! - it's just easier for me to see where I have read up to if I post now!
I've started my crochet - it's going really well now that I've worked out what I'm doing. I'm going to get a photo so I can follow my progress over the year as I (hopefully) improve.
Taking the tree and dec's down tomorrow and Def. Def. starting my English Essay, as I can't put it off any longer and the sooner it is done, the sooner I can cry about how bad it is!
Night all.

Linky - just had to say I had a nose at that other thread you where on christmas day and I couldn't catch my breath at some of the things that troll was posting! Hope you don't mind me looking and I hope that 2013 will be a great year for you xxx
I don't mind who looks at it. I didn't post on this (let it snow) thread, as I didn't want to bring it down on the Big day.
To be honest, it made the day pass quicker. So maybe she did me a favour.:DI have nothing to add to be honest ladies! - it's just easier for me to see where I have read up to if I post now!

The one I have is retailing at £79.99 plus delivery at £5 but got 2 on ebay for around £46 each including postage! For us its worth it (Ive still 5 stone to lose and bf has 9 stone to lose on top of the near 3 stone we've each lost so far) normally I wouldnt spend so much on an item like that but it really is worth its weight in gold if youve a decent amount of weight to lose - just have to keep remembering Ive only 9 months to get into the bikini! lol
Well done on the weight loss so far hun :T :T :T0 -

hi
My two littlies have both had thisDS(4) had it a week before Xmas and he was so grumpy it was untrue, I wanted to strangle him
then DD started last Sunday with the fever and omg every time I sit down she has wanted to lay on me and whinge. She's perking up now but still whining a bit. I feel your pain...
I have ordered DS birthday present. He wanted some road track to go with his fireman Sam toys. I'm also going to do him one of those photo books, filled with pics of just him and his daddy. It's more of a keepsake gift but I think he'll like it (we lost my dh to cancer 13 months ago and he really misses him and talks about him a lot :A).
He's also asked me to make him a dinosaur cake, but he's being very specific. It's a white dinosaur with teeth and red eyes and three rows of spikes! I've been given lots of instructions. I have 4 weeks to get my head around how I'm going to do it. I'll need a trial run, I think...
I did plan on heading out to the sales this morning (have a list of birthday cards, DS needs shoes, and I want an embroidery hoop) but neither of the tots wanted to go out, then my mum called - my granny has passed awaynot entirely unexpected, but sad all the same. So. Have stayed indoors.
The plan is to go to church in the morning, to see if I can find out where the vicar that did the service for my DH is. My aunt has asked me to ask him if he'll do granny's service too, as he made such a lovely job.
So much going on, I feel all muddled.
So sorry for your sad news :grouphug:0 -

Dinosaur cake. I've a friend that makes cakes for a living. 1. diplodocus - circular sponge layered 4 times for the body shaving it a little toward the top to get that rounded effect. Use Marizpan/Ready roll icing to shape for the neck and legs and cover with green icing. OR more like what your looking for, T Rex - One small sponge for the head, halfed, retangular sponge for the neck. Make good with the icing!
She makes them look easy. Sounds complex reading through what I have just typed.
When I in get that "muddled can't keep up " state (mostly cause I try to do too much) I have to sit down and list stuff. 1 because I forget half of it, 2 because I can't motivate myself to do any of it when it's fluttering about in my head - leads to stress and sleepless nights.I have nothing to add to be honest ladies! - it's just easier for me to see where I have read up to if I post now!

I was wondering if it was too early to bring down my tree. Nice to know I am not the only one. Lost the Sky remote in the post Christmas mess. I think Mine will come down NYD though.
Getting a bit sick of Peppa Pig and Dora re-runs now. At Emergency Docs last night as littlest was running at 39.6 - even the profen wasn't bringing it down. Refusing liquids, ice pops and failing the all important chocolate test - we now have antibiotics. Previous doc visits neglected to inspect her throat. Hoping for some sleep before the new year!

Well I have made a start on taking the decs down - that is, I have dragged the boxes out
I really want to make it to the sales today, fingers crossed! The sad thing is that we live a 5 minute walk from the high-street that has literally hundreds of shops on it!
All you fitbitters, can I ask is this a fitbit Ultra?
http://www.johnlewis.com/231760860/Product.aspx
I found an actual ultra on amazon for £63 (incl shipping) but I have a £50 john lewis voucher, which would mean I'd only need to put £30 towards it - BUT I want to have the amazing one that weeclick is talking about as it sounds fab![/COLOR]2024 Challenges
Live in the moment more and appreciate the small things0
