Jakesbakescakes stayed the same at this mornings weigh in, not great but not a gain so plod on :) Im not disappointed as I've stuck to the plan but felt yuck so wasn't expecting great things. The scales were teetering between two numbers so reckon on a more accurate set it'd be 0.5 lb loss which is just fine :) Hope you do better on Wednesday xxx

Thanks Nanamia and well done on your maintain especially as you've been feeling yucky! Always a good thing to see the scales teeter.... hopefully means you've got a bit of a bonus in the kitty ready for next week!! ;)
I am delighted to say i lost another 3 this week.... that's 11lb in 3 weeks - I'm am stunned - i have never lost weight so quickly before but my head is in a great place and the wine is staying in the supermarket!!!! :D I am sure it will slow to a more sensible rate as i get further into the plan but I shall enjoy the boost for the mo xxxx
  • Feisty - really feel for you and your DH - you must be so anxious my love :( Great that you can take that time off and be together though whilst he recovers.... try to keep strong and focus on the positives, like you say, hopefully he will be 'pain-free' when it is all over xxxx

    Hi ladies,
Hugs to all who need them, hope things improve for you all.
I need your help: want to do a chocolate hamper for a few of my friends for their birthdays but I can't think of hardly anything to put in them :( so far I've got a chocolate brown scarf, thought of "chocolate" the book, maybe some smelly stuff that's chocolatey? Don't wanna make it a hot chocolate hamper (too wintery) so I'm stuck. What else can I put in that's a bit different and not too expensive? Thank you.

Recipe book? The Works also sometimes have notecards with chocolates on, or notebooks. Depending on your budget you could include a dvd.

OMO also had a wonderful method for making your own lip gloss, which you could do in chocolate flavour. Just whizzed through the links at the front of the thread but couldn't find it but a quick google should point you in the right direction, or Avon sometimes do one quite cheaply.

Whilst whizzing through, also saw these body scrub and fudge.

Also maybe chocolate smelling candles? Hopefully with a slightly cheaper delivery cost than these!

    Couple of ideas! :o

Cocoa and vaseline! Melt the vaseline in the microwave and slowly add sifted cocoa until you reach a good colour. Pour into containers (I got 10 from ebay for under £3.00) and wait until set :) I made them last year for Christmas and they went down really well!

Well I have had some exciting news today :) I received an email from the Deputy Editor of Girlfriend - a popular Australian magazine for teens. She wants to feature one of my papercuts in her 20 for 20 article (20 gifts for under $20) It isn't for definite but she asked me to send her some high quality photographs for consideration - have sent her these :)
