freespirit that is awesome! I am a huge fan of energy drinks but sadly they had to be scrapped along with meat and dairy :( Eventually it will be no sugar and no processed foods too! No idea how I will manage that - fingers crossed all the sacrifice results in a healthy baba at the end of it!

Hi all, just popping out of lurkdom to let you know I noticed Morrisons have reductions in homeware this morning, picked up a few red & white spotty mugs for snowman soup for 49p and they also had reductions on cutters, cake moulds and icing bags if anyone is doing a baking hamper.
    HTH

Fiesty I LURVE your labrynth papercut, you are so clever.

  • Sorry i've not been around much lately... step children raised their ugly heads so been keeping dh distracted...

Sorry not had chance to read back but hugs and chocolate to those who need it! and HELLO!!! to all the newbies :D

I've picked up a few more xmas gifts on my travels, but the next few weeks are full of bdays in my family so trying to get those out the way lol.. Today is one of my brothers (he's 32 today.. i think) so i've made him this...

    WP_000247_zps979caa6b.jpg

It's FULL of pick and mix sweets as those are his fav! it will go with instructions to admire but smash! used the wrong chocolate as tescos didn't have ANY of the high coco content on their shelves :( they are rearranging them blah... so i attempted to use just normal dairy milk... far too soft to do chocolate art with really but hopefully he'll see it before it melts lol.

dd3's bday next week and i'll made her the giant doughnut cake (with one direction on :S and a smaller chocolate cake pinata.

Poppygirl - Congratulations on the engagement, so exciting!

Feisty - Thanks for the tip about blackberry jam, aslong as it's not damson - when I was a child my mother managed to get a large about of damson's and made it into jam. We ate damson jam with blooming everything, i've never been able to look at it since :p do you add anything to the blackberry's to make it christmassy? Labyrinth pic is a-ma-z-i-n-g I would love it if someone gave that to me! Reminds me, our dvd jumps so need to get a new copy!

moneysavingmumofone - I saw that cardie too, would have been perfect! Our Asda isn't the greatest for clothes but shall keep an eye out when I'm next in.

Caitlyn22 - Ooh let me know when you see something perfect for a seven year old girl as I'm always stumped! Hope you have got your refund back!? Tricky one with the carer! Not really sure what to say other than she seems a bit cash hungry?

Freespirit - Pinterest is where I got it from, I love it, just hope it turn out ok! :rotfl:

Hi Lukesmom - I love it here, super friendly and love chatting about christmas and life, everyone is so supportive and lovely :)

    Msgigglewick - that looks amazing!

OMG totally forgot about fathers day! Please feel free to throw any ideas at me!! My husband does nothing but work LOL! Oh and eat, ooh maybe the kids could bake him a cake or fudge hmmmm!

Thanks for backing me on the books thing, even though its ages away, managed to get 24 books suitable for 6-7 year olds for £24 from the works. Got 3 packs of 10 brown paper bags for 89p each as party bags and 6 x cupcake boxes for 39p a pack. Just going to add some sort of sweetie and a balloon and we'll be done! Maybe a bit too organised......
Spreading a little Christmas joy all year round :santa2:
