I have not logged on for a month. Been unexpectedly busy with the blog. It totally consumes me. I have never cooked as much as I have in the last month. What was I thinking . Anyway nice to log in to news that Nanamia is back and that OMO has an exciting trip planned to london.0

Thanks FeistyFidget (love the name). Very steep learning curve with food photos and I am very proud of them. I have still not yet learnt how to make chocolate mousse or curry or pork chops look really nice in a photo :rotfl:.
I think I am going to do a cookie/muffin/cake marathon baking session this weekend so we will see how those photos turn out.0 -
Please don't think me rude:( I've been struggling with jetlag ! Not sleeping at the right time and aching all over. Back to catch up if my eyes will stay open long enough. I've really missed you all xxx
Why does jet lag never effect you when you leave the country ?
Why do you only feel it when you get home ?0 -

Some wonderful ideas planned. We did the ghost bus tour a couple of years ago and it's good fun.
I will say something, though, and I hope I'm not offending you, but there's a lot of things listed and you could be overdoing it a bit. Obviously you know your limits better than I do, but it takes a while to travel between venues, and some places will have queues. It's a lot to squeeze in-especially Madam Tussauds and Natural History museum in one day. And the V&A is HUGE. I know there are sections that you might not be worried about looking round, but I was there for hours a few weeks ago and barely did 1/4 of it.
Maxwells is a nice place. Haven't been for a while, but walked past the other day and mentioned we'd like to go back soon. The cocktails are yummy if you like a drink.
DH likes The Princess Louise pub and its opposite My Old Dutch pancake house, so that keeps us sorted for a while!
The last time we went to Yates in Leicester Square, it happened to be the night of the MIB 3 premier (we had no idea. Just needed somewhere quick & cheap to eat before the theatre) and we saw Will Smith and Nicole Scherzinger (sp?)!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

We have done the History Museum number of times before, as DD wants to be a history teacher.
I don't think we will be in there for hours. DD just wouldn't let us go to London with out popping in.
I'm not that bothered about the V&A, as long as I get to pop in their shop. I do love the badges they sell.
ETA - I have done the day plans so that every other day is more relaxing. Sun slow(tour bus), Mon fast, Tue Slow(Zoo), Wed fast, Thurs slow( DIY Harry Potter), Fri Fast.0
