We think he has been working cash in hand. The CSA have always had his NI number. I put it on the original form in 1997.
There is just no trace of him. His partner owns the car. They live in a house owned by her parents. I don't even know if he has a bank account.

I'm not that bothered really. You don't miss what you have never had. Any money we got now would be put away for when dd goes to uni.

But saying that I would love to be there when the bailiffs knock on their door, just to see the look on their faces. :D
I wonder what bs they are going to use to get out of it.

That's pants Feisty, can you claim anything from the Post Office?

I can try, they are generally a bit !!!! at refunds. If by some miracle they do agree to a claim, it will be months before I actually see it.

OMO sorry for your pulsey eye :( I get the twitches in mine when stressed, drives me potty!

  • It keeps very well in my experience - I opened a Chocomania body butter last night that Ive had for year sealed and its perfect - I stocked up last Valentines as they thought it might be a limited edition and there was a great offer on. I talked to the girl in store about it recently, she told me their stuff kept in a cool dark cupboard should keep for at least 3 years un opened. Ive got cranberry and also Vanilla stuff I bought last New year (2012) (bought for us as we all use their shower/bath gel stuff) and they are prefect too just kept in a box in the bedroom - understairs cupboard is a perfect place!

I would certainly buy it now for Christmas and be happy it would keep great.

Thanks snugglebunny I bought with confidence! :D I have a very cool room so I'll keep it in a box in there.
I turned down those extra days. DH wouldn't always be able to nip back from work to feed the dogs, there was no way I'd leave them cooped up for that long. The money I earned would have been swallowed by replacing the bloody carpet lol

This is sensible Fiesty sometimes we can take on too much in our lives.

Thinking of you msgigglewick and wishing you lots of strength through this!

Happy belated birthday Gleek and my3girls xxx

I feel sorry for you - its so annoying! And its usually caused by stress or lack of sleep. I get a spasm in my forehead rather than a pulse in my eye - its very weird! :p

Ds got it for me for Christmas,(as it wasn't on over the festive period), but I am sure I can bring myself to watch it this afternoon.
  • just caught up, big hugs to all those who need one, msgigglewick I sympathise totally, its the stress and frustration of thinking youve sorted something out, somebody on the phone sorts it and days its done, then you suddenly get a letter saying something totally different and your heart sinks thinking youve got to ring and go over it all AGAIN!

Had something re my late in laws property, estimated utility bill for when it was totally empty (which they knew as THEY switched utility off at our request!) but they just won't have it, if you ring they say they will sort it, then you suddenly get a threatening letter - its not our property and the bill is a totally wrong estimate even though they know the property was empty and the utility off so it can't possibly be right, but they keep farming it off to different debt collectors instead of actually dealing with it, we explain to one and copy the letter to them, then months later just get the same from another agency, the stress of it drives me crazy and thats the reason Im phobic about the post coming :(

Happy belated birthday to Gleek and My3Girls, hope you had a great day both!

Done nothing Christmassy in the last few days - MsGigglewick what advent calendar did you pre order?
  • that is exactly it snugglebunny.. the constant badgering.. why can't they just sort it out then we can all get back to our own lives and jobs etc no thats too bloomin easy isnt' it lol
