Hi all. I've woken up to snow again today. I was so happy when it all melted a couple of weeks ago, but now it's back.
Although with DS already off school with chicken pox it doesn't make a difference if they close the school again.
I love the Panda Feisty.Savings Account - £0.00

Hellooo everyone! Well the internet's finally sorted in the new house so I'm guessing that means lots of reading back over the last few pages for me!
What a week it's been.......just incase I haven't said it enough times in the last month...I HATE moving!!! 4 times in 4 years is wayyy too much.....hopefully this was the last time for a long time though!!! The house is LOVELY but needs so much work doing...I've spent all week unpacking but the second reception room (soon to be playroom) still looks like a warehouse.....meanwhile (pregnancy wise) I've been to see the midwife today only to be told my little man is now fully engaged (I was 35 weeks yesterday) and seems to be giving all the signs that he's gonna make an appearance earlySo it's now a mad rush to try get all the last minute stuff ready for bubba.
How is everyone? Gonna go back and try catch up on anything I've missed nowxxx
Hi opee, glad you got through the move ok! Moving is very stressful, there's so much packing and organising to do both ends! It's usually worth it in the end but hard work. Just tackle one thing at a time and you'll get your house looking how you want it. When we moved last September we made a list of everything that needs doing around the house, it was a long list but seeing it on paper made it easier to figure which bits to tackle first and what could wait. And you're just going to have to tell the little man that things aren't ready for him yet and he's going to have to hold on a bit longer!0 -
We've had sleet this morning on the way to school but luckily it only lasted 2 minutes. I don't want snow, I need sunshine & warmth.
On a brighter note, just booked hubby's surprise meal at Jamie Oliver's restaurant in Brighton!! :j Can't wait, it's not till June but I like to be organised, lol. I now gotta find somewhere to stay for the night and something to do too. Taking DD too, so it's gotta be child friendly. She's 8, so not too bad, luckily.
Hope you all have a great day today!0 -

Ooooh, I love Brighton. Going for a couple of nights next month. This time we're staying in the Premier Inn, but usually we stay at the Travelodge seafront. Technically it's NOT ON the seafront, but very close. I like it, but it may not be special enough for what you have in mind. They do family rooms, though and it's very close to a Weatherspoon for cheap & yummy breakfast. The Lanes are not far away and the station is a 10-15 minute walk away. If you're driving, you may want to find a hotel with parking as I know Brighton can be a nightmare for parking. Also stayed at the Old Ship hotel before (used tesco vouchers) but all I can remember about it is that the room was stiflingly hot! And this was in march. Couldn't adjust the heating & the windows didn't open. Also very noisy with people walking past from the pubs nearby. It was on the seafront & very close to The Lanes-and probably the restaurant if it's where I'm thinking of. Have a great time!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Well last night we had snow and thunder and lightening together then a bit of Rain and snow again this morning but thankfully it has all gone now
I've had loads to catch up on but can't remember who said what now but..
I'm glad the move went okay for you and that baby is doing great
I love the panda bags and everything else on your fb0 -
Ruth honey - thank you, I've never been to Brighton, but always wanted to go. Dunno why. I've got a few months to sort it all out as hubby's birthday is not till June! I just like to be organised
I'm saving up my tesco vouchers but as we're only going for a night, I might push the boat out, will see.
Well I tried to snow again, very pathetic effort, lasted for about 5mins and the sun was out straight away. It wouldn't be a bad day if it wasn't so windy. Just too cold to do anything.0 -
Hello all!! love the gorgeous bag Feisty!
Not had any snow here but it's blinking cold!!
Nothing much to report this end, not done anything more for Christmas other than some surveys which have bumped my VO
payable up to £9.75 againIve had to put a claim into TCB for my Dominoes 9.99 as its never tracked, but they put it on ice until 7 days so will have to wait for that
Had email that the last payment is due for DD's school trip, eek its 2 payments! I just paid one so thought the next was end Feb and another in March, so will pay by credit card once the statement date has passed, will have extra time before I have to pay it then!
Just checked my Christmas savings, have £40 + £20 M&S gift cards, £10 on Sainsburys savings card, £15 Nectar points, £2 Boots points and £37 TCB once its payable, which I may take in Amazon vouchers as they add 5%Ive got all my cards, M&S wrap and tags and ribbon, and so far have a few gifts ordered, arrived or planned, so nto too bad all told
Ive got Ferrero Rocher, Celebrations and Cadbury Heroes hidden along with several bottles of wine - shame the chocolates won't last til December!
Opee glad the move went well - fingers crossed you get straight before little one puts in an appearance! we moved in here 6 weeks before DD was born and I started my maternity leave and spent 4 weeks decorating, then the first day I sat down she put in an early appearance 2 weeks early!0 -

Snuggle bunny, can I ask what survey sites you use?
I've signed up to various in the past but stopped as they would make you answer 5 minutes worth of questions and then cheekily tell you you weren't eligible so wouldn't get points![/COLOR]2024 Challenges
