That's great news Mrs G, and you sound lovely and positive. It rubs off on others, I feel a bit more positive just reading your post. I have a PpI claim to put in. I hadn't got round to it as it was from 2000 so I wasn't sure if it was too old (Lloyds TSB loan) did you use a company or do it yourself following Martins templates? I'm tempted to use a company to make it easier, but grudge havng to give them a portion of the money, if I got it back that is x

Dh put the original claim in for the most recent. it didn't occur to him there was others he could have claimed for.. So once lloyds had recieved the template from here they called him up and said they had found the other 7 loans.. took details there and then of why he thought he had been missold (sorry can't remember really what those were) couple of weeks later we get the offer and a week after that the money.. Was shocked it was so much so for the price of a stamp and 30 mins filling out the forms it was well worth doing! Whats the worse they can say? nope sorry... not the end of the world if they don't but nice if they upheld the complaint. I'd recommend to everyone if theres a little doubt to go for it.. .Using the templates from here not a claims company...

Having done research after we put ours in, those companies take 25% ish whether you win or lose. and if you cancel before they get any money they charge you anyway.. It really was simple todo it ourselves though. And the people on the ppi board are very helpful too, good luck!

  • Wow, thanks FeistyFidget, OMO and riskyb - I didn't realise there were so many chocolate themed things out there! This has been really helpful and I shouldn't have any problem making up a hamper! Just one more question, what's your experience of storing toiletries? I want to be prepared my don't want to buy them so early that they 'go off' by the time I give them as presents...

Happy birthday for yesterday ejaycock - hope you had a great day!

SwipernoSwiping - good luck with your writing, i'm not sure what you're writing but it looks like you are doing well! I love to write and over the last 10 years i've always been working on something, but i'm finally feeling like I want to really get on with it and make a go of it so i've really thrown myself into the novel i'm writing at the moment. My ideal life would be as a writer, but i've got to finish my stuff first!

Welcome back Opee92, I had wondered where you'd gone on the last thread!

Good luck with everything today pinksteps, hope it all goes well. :)

And I hope you feel better soon OMO, so much stuff going round at the moment! :( Just rest and stay warm.:)

It was 80cms x40cms And £8.69 including postage from eBay. I'm hoping to make meal planners to put in the new shop :)

Regarding purchasing toiletries, most last for two years after opening. If you check on the back of the packs, it will tell you how long they are good for.

Thanks Fiesty, I'll have a look. I was going to attempt roll up place mats with places for chalk. So you can take them to a restaurant etc with you, and keeps the kids occupied.

Thanks MrsG, I'll go for it as soon as I can look out what I need again. I had a CC too with The TSB, I can't remember the details or of I had PPI, but they should have it on file somewhere. X
