I had some seriously good slow roasted pork the other day that melted in the mouth. Tempted for a way to their heart type of post. :D

Just to say - music, lots and lots and lots of it and actually 'running away' for a nite in london really really really helps. That and chatting to others and hanging out here helps too.
    Good luck to us all.

NIC2075 - thankyou for asking, well she has oesophagitis and they think coming home to different food caused her oesophagus to spasm (would have thought it would be other way round India = spicy food) but then she went to work this morning and had an allergic reaction to the tabs they gave her last night, so the drs said to get there asap, they have taken her off those tabs and upped her usual tabs, and told her to rest this afternoon. It will take a few days for it all to get back to normal, so she is in bed now. Hope you managed to have a little nap!

  • I have a question which I know I should ask on another thread but thought I'd run it past my friends here. Does anyone still use a knitting machine? My dear mum use to use one all the time when I was young and I've always wanted one just for fun as I know you can pick jumpers etc so cheap in places like primani. So thoughts?

Even though DS is not technically having a party this year, (as he wanted to go on holiday instead we brought our usual family holiday forward and are staying in a cottage instead of a caraan) the family 'gathering' will basically have all the elements of a party. :o I cant help myself, I just love preparing kids parties! Im tempted to do candy cones as they look so pretty or/and a candy buffet. Im sure the adults will like it just as much as the children! :D Shouldnt cost too much either as lots of the sweets can be bought from Home Bargains. Im rather excited now. :j

Well lovelies yet again you've brought tears to my eyes. It's so wonderful of you all to wish us well on our adventure :) I'm starting to believe it is real- we are going :)
Text DS a short while ago and was able to say (cos of the time difference) "see you tomorrow tea time" It's a wonderful feeling, I'm so full of joy I wish I could share it with those who are feeling a bit down in the dumps.

We've had friends calling in and ringing throughout the day wishing us a safe journey etc and sending love to DSs family, we really are so very lucky. Privileged to be surrounded by wonderful people (including you lot)

DSiL was on good form woo hooo safe to go away now knowing she can only go from strength to strength :) I will miss her tho - have been promised twice daily updates.

Drops of Jupiter we have an open ended ticket but roughly about four weeks:) I know I'm spoilt! And am very very lucky.
    Night night xxx
So exciting that you are on your way now! So glad your DSIL is on good form. :) What a lovely, long visit you will have, enjoy every minute. xx
